Data shows that in 2022, the revenue of China's e-sports industry will be 144.503 billion yuan, and there will be about 488 million e-sports users in China. International and national high-level e-sports events held in Shenzhen with the participation of the highest international athletes will receive funding of no more than 8 million yuan and 5 million yuan each time. The "Several Measures of Haidian District to Support the Development of Digital Cultural IndustryE-sports Industry)" and "Measures for the Management of Support Funds for the Development of Digital Cultural Industry in Haidian District (E-sports Industry)" (2022) also clearly mentioned that for platform construction, high-quality game development, game and e-sports theoretical research, e-sports venue construction, e-sports events, and e-sports game industry activities, financial subsidies will be given, with a minimum subsidy of 200,000 yuan and a maximum of 10 million yuan.
