In the twentieth year of the Kangxi Reign (1681), he entered Beijing for an audience and was promoted to the governor of Jiangnan and Jiangxi.
After many years in office, it is rare that he has always remained incorruptible. Later, after Jackie Chan died, Kangxi personally wrote an inscription for him, calling him "the first official in the Qing Dynasty, and the first incorruptible official in the world." ”
Third place: Hairui
Zi Ruxian, Hao Gangfeng, was a native of Qiongshan, Hainan (present-day Haikou). Famous Qing official of the Ming Dynasty. In his life, Hai Rui experienced the four dynasties of Zhengde, Jiajing, Longqing and Wanli.
Hai Rui was born in the Ming Dynasty and was the elder of the four dynasties, experiencing the four dynasties from Emperor Wuzong of Ming to the Wanli Emperor. And Hai Rui was not from a jinshi, but a person, and he was a talent in a thousand miles at that time.
During the Jiajing period, the 38-year-old Hai Rui was appointed as the prefect of Chun'an County, which was relatively chaotic at that time, and there were many cases that had not been solved for many years, but they were all judged by Hai Ruiming. Subsequently, he carried out the liquidation of absurds, equalized taxes, and repeatedly redressed unjust, false and wrong cases, and cracked down on corrupt officials, which won the support of the people.
As a Zhixian county, Hai Rui not only did not extravagant and wasteful, but also lived very frugally, not only wore coarse cloth robes to eat coarse grain, but even the dishes he ate were grown by his own servants. Later, Hai Rui was promoted to a false criminal sentence, and many unjust, false and wrong cases were settled.
He cracked down on the arrogant, dredged rivers, built water conservancy projects, vigorously punished corrupt officials, prohibited favoritism and bribery, and introduced a whipping law to force corrupt officials to return to their fields and return to the people, thus earning the reputation of "Hai Qingtian."
Second place: Bao Zheng
Zi Xiren, a native of Hefei, Luzhou (present-day Hefei, Anhui), was a famous minister of the Northern Song Dynasty.
Speaking of Bao Zheng, everyone will think of a drama: Chen Shimei, at that time, Chen Shimei was a popular person in front of the Empress Dowager and a princess's horse, but Chen Shimei was extremely evil, and there was really no official with such courage.
In the fifth year of the Heavenly Saint, Bao Zheng ascended to the rank of Shidi. He once suggested training and selecting generals and enriching border preparations. Later, he served as the deputy envoy of the Third Division of the Household Department, and asked the imperial court for permission to trade in salt. When he was in the court, he repeatedly impeached the powerful. He was then awarded the posts of Longtuge Zhi Bachelor, Hebei Du Transfer Envoy, Zhiying and Yang Prefectures, and Liquan Zhi Kaifeng Prefecture, Quan Yushi Zhongcheng, and Third Envoy.
After six years, he was promoted to Deputy Privy Councillor. Because he once served as the direct bachelor of Tianzhang Pavilion and Longtuge, he was called "Bao Pending System" and "Bao Longtu".
Bao Zheng is honest and fair, resolute in the dynasty, not attached to the powerful, iron-faced and selfless, wise and decisive, and dares to claim grievances for the people, so he has the names of "Bao Qingtian" and "Bao Gong". Later generations worshipped him as a deity, believing that he was the reincarnation of Kuixing, and because of the folk legend of his black-faced image, he was also known as "Bao Qingtian".
The most popular among the people is the deeds of Bao Zheng, who is not only a clean official, but also does not destroy relatives for the powerful and righteous, so the people support him very much.
The first one: Zhao Guanghan
An official in the middle of the Western Han Dynasty. Zidu (字子都), a native of Liwu, Zhuo County (present-day southwest of Boye, Hebei).
Less for the county officials. Later, he successively served as prefecture engaged, pingzhai order, Yangzhai order, Jingfu capital lieutenant, and shou jing zhaoyin and other posts. In order to participate in the discussion of Emperor Xuan of Han, he was given the title of Marquis of Guannei. Moved to Yingchuan Taishou. After Zhao Guanghan took office, he accused him of being evil, and the county was shocked. Later, he was Jing Zhaoyin, shrewd and capable, strict in the rule of officials, and was known as "the one who has ruled Jing Zhao since Hanxing is incomparable".
During the reign of Emperor Zhao of Han and Emperor Xuan of Han, Zhao Guanghan was jealous all his life, and during his tenure as the emissary of Yingchuan County, he struck at the power of wealthy families and eased social contradictions when he first took office.
Later, when he served as Jing Zhaoyin, he was even more fearless of power, tough in managing public security, and good at exposing corruption, and the people praised him endlessly.
But Zhao Guanghan had a shortcoming, that is, the means were cruel, so he offended many people, and even Emperor Xuan of Han disliked him very much, and was finally beheaded.
Sure enough, if the emperor is not wise, it is really difficult for Qing officials to do it. The original Bao Zheng was saved from killing because of the emperor's Meiji.
