Schematic diagram of the solar system on the web
When I go to school, textbooks have a schematic diagram of the solar system. But I always feel that it is not intuitive enough, so today I checked the relevant data on the Internet:
Solar diameter = 1,392,000 km
Earth diameter = 12,742 km
Moon diameter = 3476 km
The distance from the Sun to the Earth = 149,600,000 km
The distance from the Moon to the Earth = 384404 kilometers
Converting the above data according to "10,000 km = 1 mm" will yield the following set of data:
Solar diameter = 139 mm
Earth diameter = 1.2 mm
Lunar diameter = 0.34 mm
The distance from the Sun to the Earth = 19460 mm
Distance from the Moon to Earth = 38.4 mm
Expressed in terms of common objects in life:
Sun = orange
Earth = mung beans
Moon = seed of dragon fruit
Distance from the Sun to Earth = Half a basketball court
Combined with the above, the relationship between them is: a small orange (sun) is placed in the center of the basketball court, a green bean (earth) is placed on the outer edge of the bottom line (white line), and there is a dragon fruit seed (moon) on the inner edge of the white line.
