Xixiaotun Elementary School
Xixiaotun Primary School was established in 2016, with the goal of "laying the foundation for students' lives" and the characteristics of "art and sports education", actively carrying out club activities, we carefully set up the curriculum, develop students' personality, so that every student shines under the illumination of the "Jian" character emblem. Highlight the "Jian" character culture of our school and develop artistic characteristics. In just four years, the school's clubs have also experienced from scratch, from less to more, gradually improved, and moved towards creating a boutique club. At present, a total of 10 clubs have been set up, covering music, art, physical education, English, reading, handicrafts and other fields, with 230 teachers and students participating, and the participation rate of teachers and students has reached 100%. With the continuous deepening of the construction of the community curriculum, two distinctive clubs have been formed - the Little Star Art Society and the Little Star Roller Skating Club. Many outstanding students have been trained and won awards in district and municipal competitions.
Little Star "Art Society"
Art education is a beautiful business card of the school, which began in 2018. From the beginning, only the lower grade students were engaged in crayon painting, line drawing and gouache painting courses, to handmade courses, and now there are Chinese painting courses, so that students from easy to difficult, from general painting to traditional Chinese painting learning. In the process of painting, the traditional Chinese culture and the construction of campus culture are linked together to form the art characteristic culture of Xixiaotun Primary School. Since its inception, many students have not been able to complete a work independently, and they have not had good works to participate in district art festivals and various competitions at the district and municipal levels, and have now participated in two Revival District Art Festivals, and many students have won awards; One student won the third prize in the 35th Youth Science and Technology Innovation Competition Science Fiction Painting Competition, and two students won the second prize in the District Arts Festival.
Little Stars "Roller Skating Society"
In response to the call of the state to welcome the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, Xixiaotun Primary School actively carried out the Ice and Snow Games and established a roller skating club to encourage children to actively participate in the competition. Before the establishment of the club, the school had no professional teachers, and teachers were encouraged to actively participate in the training activities of roller skating knowledge. Use your spare time to study, practice, and develop yourself into a professional. In just one semester, the outstanding students of the club represented the school in the ice and snow sports meeting organized by the District Education and Sports Bureau. In October 2020, our school also organized the first ice and snow games, and won the fifth place in the overall score of the primary school group B team in the first ice and snow games in the fuxing district in 2019, and many students won the place.
With the joint efforts of all teachers, the school's club curriculum from scratch, from learning to progress, is moving forward step by step, combined with the school's characteristic campus culture construction, and strive to create a good learning environment for students, cultivate students' all-round development, I believe that in the near future, Xixiaotun Primary School club activities will be better and better!
