I once saw a movie on Station B called "The Taste of Plum Chicken", and at first I thought it was a comedy movie about food. After watching it, I found that this is different from my original idea of coming in, this is not a food movie, there is no food scene, and the only picture related to the title plum chicken is the wife of the male protagonist, who brought him a plum chicken that he liked. The content of the film seems to have nothing to do with plum chicken, but it is closely related.
The film is based on the uncle of the film's director, a famous Musician in Iran. The film tells the story of a musician who, after his wife broke his beloved violin, decided not to eat or drink, and starved himself to death eight days later. He did not waver when his wife placed one of his favorite dishes, plum chicken, in front of him. Nasha Ali is a well-known musician in Iran, and without music, without that violin life, he couldn't stand it for a moment. Nasha lay in bed, imagining all sorts of death scenes, being laid on the rails, jumping off a cliff, swallowing a lot of sleeping pills or a headshot, but he felt that none of these methods should be the way a musician should die, and finally he decided not to do anything, so he lay on the bed, waiting for death to come to the bed and take him away. Nasha spent eight days lying in bed looking back on her life.
On the first day, he looked at his daughter swinging in the garden outside the window, recalled the scene when her daughter took her to the playground when she was a child, and imagined what her daughter would look like after she became an elder, her marriage, her divorced life, her love, her deceased lover, and the second half of her life, which was plagued by disease, and was anesthetized by alcohol, gambling, and cigarettes.
The next day, his wife summoned Nasha's brother to persuade him, and although they grew up together, they had different personalities, And Nasha's brother was the pride of his parents and had excellent grades, while Nasha rebelled and repeated grades, which broke his parents' hearts. On the third day, Nasha thought of taking his own mind like Socrates, finding an heir to his philosophy before his death, and perpetuating his thoughts, he called his children to bed and began his speech. On the fourth day, Nasha's wife, Franji, made a plum chicken feast, and she liked to see Nasha smiling at the table and praising her plum chicken. In fact, Francis has had a crush on Nasha since she was a child, and when Nasha traveled around, she has been waiting for Nasha, and she has also rejected several marriage proposals for this purpose. On the eighth day, Nasha recalled his first encounter with Ilan, and they went to the cinema together, where Nasha played for her at the window and proposed to Ilan under a flower tree. But their love is blocked by Ilan's father, he ridicules how Nasha wants to give Ilan a decent life, he asks Nasha to leave Ilan, don't pestering her, the love between them is just passion, over time will forget each other, before leaving, Nasha assured Ilan's father that he would never forget Ylang.
When Nasha returned to the Master, the Master said that he had finally grasped that sigh and would become a great musician, and would teach him the violin to him, give it to Nasha, and teach that everything he had lost would be turned into notes and melodies, and that the lost love would become the breath and sigh in his music.
Nasha traveled the world for twenty years, but as the master said, Ylang-ylang was like a melody, and as soon as he started playing, he was with him. Eventually, Nasha became a great musician, and Ylang Ylang, following his father's arrangement, married as a wife.
After a day's music lesson, Nasha played alone in the classroom, Chu Lanji hid outside the door to eavesdrop, she heard that there was always another woman in her husband's music, she couldn't bear to rush in and argue with Nasha, and in one breath, she threw Nasha's violin to the ground, breaking the violin and breaking Nasha's music.
Nasha went around the world to find a good violin, and by chance of fate, Nasha met Ilan again, but Ilan said with a blank face that she did not know him, so she turned away. Watching the familiar figure of day and night drift away, in this moment, Nasha lost more than just his music. But what he didn't see was that Yilan didn't turn back and walked in tears, hiding behind the corner of the wall and crying silently.
