The suspect did not give up after committing the crime, and went to a bank on Kennedy Road, the main road of Chinatown, to rob it again. A Chinese customer was using cash over the counter to pay for his credit card when he turned to see the other person turning his gun on him and the suspect said to him, "Money, more money."

Police said the shooting in Union Square occurred around 5 p.m., on a northbound N-line train, the suspect approached a 42-year-old victim and asked him to hand over his mobile phone and other belongings.

Police said the gun incident caused unrest at the 14th Street platform, and many commuters scattered around, and the scene was not brought under control until the police arrived.

The suspect did not stop after firing at Union Square and went to a bank at 254 Kennedy Road in Chinatown. Police said he walked into the lobby carrying the same gun.

At the time, a Chinese customer was paying a credit card bill in cash with the help of a bank employee at the counter. Police said that at that time, the victim felt that someone behind him was very close, turned around and saw the muzzle of the gun pointed at himself, and then heard people say, "Money, give me more money." ”

Police said the Chinese customer was not fluent in English, but the bank teller panicked at the time of the crime and handed over the cash that the customer had planned to return the credit card to the suspect. The suspect initially demanded $50,000, but fled the scene after receiving more than $1,000 in cash.

Based on the timing of the two gun deaths and the physical appearance of the suspects described by the victims and witnesses, the police said the two cases were committed by the same person.
