1 Letter of Acceptance
The shading of the notice is composed of the ripples of the Xiangjiang River and the silhouette of Yuelu Mountain, highlighting the geographical positioning of Central South University: under the Yuelu Mountain, on the shore of the Xiangjiang River, it also represents the Huxiang culture that resides in the landscape. The main body of the notice is composed of blue, gray and red, the colored gate symbolizes the colorful life that opens after entering Central South University, and the gray background hides the landmark buildings of Xiangya Campus, Railway Campus and New Campus, representing the former Hunan Medical University, Changsha Railway College and Central South University of Technology that make up Central South University, highlighting the multicultural heritage, multi-disciplinary characteristics and diversified talent training characteristics of Central South University.
In the upper middle of the front is the general introduction of Central South University and the logo of the school emblem, the blue represents rationality and calmness, and the central south blue of the school emblem and text reminds the people of Central South to always maintain a scientific, rational learning and life attitude.
In the center of the front is the word "Letter of Acceptance" in red. On the right is the school motto of "Unity of Knowledge and Action, Practical Application through the Ages", and on the left is the school spirit of "Goodness, Truth-seeking, Aesthetics, and Tolerance". The school spirit and school motto also use the calm and rational Zhongnan Blue, reflecting our study style of implementing the spirit of science.
"Unity of knowledge and action" emphasizes the unity of understanding and practice, and "application through the world" means to have the world in mind, dare to take responsibility, and be committed to serving the actual needs with the knowledge learned.
