The German philosopher Nietzsche once said that "faith is not to want to know what the truth is", the truth of the world, the truth of mankind, sometimes know nothing, may be a kind of happiness...

Alien Hacker, also known as Thirteen Degrees of Murder, is a sci-fi suspense thriller film directed by Joseph Russnack and starring Greg Bildt, Gretchen Moore, and Amin Müller-Starr. The science fiction concepts and cinematic language are so brilliant that can you imagine this 1999 work?!
Synopsis
Thirteen, a number that sounds a little grim. On the thirteenth floor of a building, scientists Douglas Hall (Craig Birk) and Hannon Fuller (Amin Müller-Starr) use computers to simulate a realistic 1937 Los Angeles, and they can enter this virtual world through computers and truly experience life and themselves in 1937.
One night, however, Fuller was killed, and clues suggested that Hall had done it. Hall, however, had no memory of what had happened that night. At this time, a woman who claimed to be Fuller's daughter appeared mysteriously again, but Hall had never heard Fuller say that she had a daughter... In order to find out the truth about the murderer, Hall follows the clues left by Fuller to the virtual world, and he is getting closer and closer to the truth... Near to suffocation...

Doug woke up to blood stains and a white shirt stained with blood, and his blank expression seemed to tell him that he didn't know anything like us. Here the director showed the truth of the incident nakedly in front of our eyes at the beginning, but we can't get anything, it's too bad!
Have you ever seen Los Angeles at four in the morning? No, I haven't seen it, but I've seen Los Angeles in 1937! Doug travels back to 1937 through a machine he developed with Fuller and others, where the truth is hidden by a mysterious man...
After Fuller was murdered, Jenny, a beautiful woman who claimed to be his daughter, appeared, but no one had heard Fuller mention that he had a daughter, but! But! But! The male protagonist chose silence, the inspector chose silence, and the technician chose silence, which is the victory of the Yan Value Party! (Joke)
Have you ever spoken to God? Maybe "God" is just an ordinary person like you, and will even put the muzzle of the gun in your mouth.
Doug wakes up in another place after being killed, and Jenny tells him that this is the real world, and a soft dark red glow sprinkles all over his body, can you read the answer that the director told you with this color?

This is a movie that you will doubt about life after watching it, so don't think about what the world is, what kind of human beings really exist, this is just a movie, all you have to do is go back to the top of the page and pay attention! (manual funny)
I prefer the name "Thirteen Degrees of Space" to "Alien Dimension Hacker", first of all, the number 13 itself has different meanings in different cultures, and it will lead people to wonder what kind of existence the twelve degree space in front of it will be. The director drops a seed in the hearts of the viewers, and as the plot develops, we will gradually find that the seeds are growing wildly.
The film also has a clever design: all people have a dual identity, Fuller is both a professor who devotes himself to scientific research and a prodigal son who seeks fun; Jenny is both a modern girl who changes jobs madly and a kind heroine from the future. These have great requirements for the acting skills of the actors, but they have all done it...
Many people like to compare "Alien Hacker" with "The Matrix", admittedly, both explore the origin of the world, but the Wachowski brothers (now sisters) Of the Matrix are more focused on interpretation, heterogeneous hackers are more "guided", one level is nested in another plane, there are other beings outside the plane, and the seeds planted in your heart in the film will grow unscrupulously and never stop. Thoughts are endless, so why don't you drive with me to the end of the world and see the truth of the world with your own eyes...
