He is Ye Zhiping, so as a principal, what has he done since taking office? What happened?
The first half of Ye Zhiping's life was nothing special. He is a native of Sichuan, and has always studied, lived and worked in Sichuan. In 1978, at the age of 25, he was transferred to work in Anxian Mulberry Middle School, and since then he has been closely connected to Mulberry Middle School for the rest of his life.
In 1995, at the age of 42, Ye Zhiping finally went from teacher, grade group leader, deputy director of academic affairs, director, and vice principal all the way to the principal and party branch secretary of Sangzao Middle School. After becoming the principal, Ye Zhiping paid close attention to teaching management, and the following year raised the high school examination results of Mulberry Middle School to the first place in the county, and since then Mulberry Middle School has lived steadily in the first position.
There is no need to worry about the school's teaching work, Ye Zhiping put most of his heart on the renovation of the school's dangerous buildings, and since then he has started the repair and repair of Sangzao Middle School and the renovation of dangerous buildings year after year.
The first teaching building of Mulberry Middle School was built in the 80s, and it cost 170,000 yuan and two or three years to build before it was finally completed, but the quality was extremely poor. In addition, there are other old buildings that have fallen into disrepair.

The first thing Ye Zhiping did was to take the lead in repairing and strengthening the buildings in the school, in other words, the old and dilapidated buildings.
First of all, he found that the toilet building connected to the teaching building was completely crooked, and even the steel bars were rusted, and in time, maybe the toilet building would collapse. Therefore, in the summer vacation of '96, Principal Ye used the 12,000 yuan applied from the Education Bureau to demolish the old toilet building and build a new toilet for students next to the teaching building.
Although the safety hazards of the toilets have been solved, the teaching building is still unsafe. He found that the cracks in the slabs of the teaching building were filled with construction waste, and he could see the next floor from the cracks, which was simply shocking!
So Principal Ye found a regular construction company and took advantage of the night to clear the construction waste from the cracks of the floor slab and pour concrete.
Later, Principal Ye repaired the shaky and broken railings of the teaching building, and replaced the railings of the school with steel railings with the funds that were hard to obtain.
But it was all a pre-dinner dish, and then he began to overhaul the school building. He first thickened the 22 load-bearing columns of the teaching building from the non-standard 37 cm pouring cement to 52 cm. Then, during holidays and weekends, the classrooms in the school building were renovated and reinforced little by little.
In the newly built building of the school, Principal Ye took it personally, found a high-standard construction team, personally supervised the work every day with a hard hat, and strictly prohibited bribery, cheating and slippery. From 1996 to 2004, the construction of Sangzao Middle School never stopped, and in ten years, the school building was tossed up, and Principal Ye began to toss the whole school.
On the day of the Wenchuan earthquake, the 2,300 teachers and students of Sangzao Middle School quickly and orderly assembled on the playground in one minute and 36 seconds, creating a miracle of no casualties among teachers and students in the eight-level earthquake.
And the creation of this miracle is thanks to the principal Ye Zhiping of Mulberry Middle School, who has been scolded for not doing his job for more than ten years.
After he took office, he always asked the Education Bureau with limited funds for money, carried out all kinds of soft grinding and hard foaming, and asked for money every time, 20,000, 30,000, 50,000, one point is a little, and all of them will be won. As soon as Principal Ye has money, he will repair the school's house, and Sangzao Middle School has used holidays to repair it for ten years.
Day by day, year after year, there are many teachers who can't stand it and have opinions, but Principal Ye rejects them all. The house was repaired, but Principal Ye was still relieved, so after ten years of repairing the house, Principal Ye began to organize the teachers and students of the school to conduct escape drills. After seeing Principal Ye, the teacher in the playground quickly ran to Ye Zhiping's side and told him that there were no casualties among the 2,300 teachers and students in the school. Principal Ye was not at ease, so he asked them to check it again, and only after the verification was completed and confirmed that it was correct, did he completely relax and burst into tears.
In the great earthquake that saddened all the sons and daughters of China, the teaching building of Sangzao Middle School, which had been built on and off for several years, did not collapse, and it stood there safely along with the 2,300 teachers and students in the playground.
After the disaster, President Ye also played the responsibility of the principal and party members, personally doing the work after the disaster, and the extra food he bought also played a lot of role. After the children resumed school, he was busy with his children's learning and post-disaster reconstruction, and he was on the go.
But unfortunately, on June 27, 2011, due to long-term rushing and exhaustion, President Ye suddenly died of a cerebral hemorrhage at the age of 57.
