The evening was held in the women's single 3m springboard and men's singles 10m platform, as well as three mixed team events. The Chinese team did not participate in the mixed team competition this time. In the first women's singles 3m springboard final, Chang Yani and Chen Yiwen, who had previously won the gold medal in the women's double 3m springboard, competed separately. In the final, Chang Yani continued her courageous form in the preliminary round, and finally won the championship with 363.75 points, another Chinese player Chen Yiwen won the second place with 346.95 points, and the Japanese player finished third.

Subsequently, the men's single 10-meter platform final was fiercely contested, with China's Yang Hao and Yang Jian competing together. In the end, Yang Jian, who performed better, won the gold medal with 537.70 points, which also surpassed his victory at this year's World Championships, another Chinese Yang Hao finished second with 472.20 points, and the United States finished third.
