The ceremony begins on Thursday before NTAs give their first award to "groundbreaking" comedian Sir Lenny Henry in recognition of his 50-year acting career.
As the stars lined up to shine on the red carpet, two notable people were absent: Britain's beloved, record-breaking NTAs duo Ant and Dec.
Unfortunately, the duo missed the night's show after contracting the coronavirus and were forced to cancel all TV shows (including Britain's Got Talent). The duo won the TV hosting category for the 21st time in a row, and in the process, their opponent was the fan-favorite Alison Hammond,
Meanwhile, despite Holly and Phil's "Queue Door" plot, "This Morning" won the NTA award for Best Daytime Program, which led some viewers to think that the expressions of the "Pine Girl" stars were not attractive, and reportedly elicited several boos from the audience.
