Gauchere SPRING 2023 READY-TO-WEAR
Marie-Christine Stutz of Gauchère displays her collection in the Passage des Jacobins, an alley that runs through Marché Saint Honoré. Marché Saint Honoré, a high-ceilinged glass and concrete building built in the mid-90s, was a busy place before the outbreak.
On the runway, lean, minimalist silhouettes are broken through clustered seams, and high-waisted slim pants are paired with backless tops, or "bubbles" fabric bags are created on the tight tops of ankle-length dresses. Tailoring and construction are at the heart of her designs. She still prefers oversized pants with slightly protruding shoulders and loose legs. The bare cut on tight tops and slender dresses hints at a sense of vulnerability.
Without embellishment and the monochromatic palette of black, gray, rust and off-white is spray-painted in gradient tones of orange and blue on dresses inlaid with black lace, French artist Camille Henriot's abstract graphic patterns painted directly on masculine shirts and languid jeans provide a welcome visual vibrancy. #How to wear a sense of luxury##Trendy style wear##经典秀场 #
