The Royal Canadian Mounted Police said at a press conference on the 4th that 13 knife wounding incident sites have been found, 10 people have been killed, and at least 15 people have been hospitalized.

RCMP commander Rhonda Blackmore of Saskatchewan said there could be more victims being taken to other hospitals.

Blackmore noted that some of the victims appeared to be targeted by suspects, but the suspects' attacks on others appeared to be random.

Police said the two suspects were Damien Sanderson and Miles Sanderson. The suspect was last identified at around 11:20 a.m. local time in Regina, saskatchewan's capital.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police first issued an alert at 7:12 a.m. on the 4th, and has since been updated several times. Police said the two suspects were believed to be riding in a black Nissan "Rogue" with a license plate of 119 MPI. The scope of the alert has been extended to the whole province due to the possible use of vehicles by suspects.

Blackmore said "we don't know if the suspect changed vehicles" and that they also asked for the alert to be extended to Manitoba and Alberta as the suspect was at large, "at the moment, there is no indication that the suspect went to another province".

She said at a news conference that the relationship between the suspects was unclear at the moment, and the location and direction of the escape were not clear. She urged everyone in Saskatchewan to remain vigilant.

At present, a number of checkpoints have been set up throughout Saskatchewan.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority said the victim was being treated. Spokeswoman Anne Linemann said in an email that the health department had activated emergency response procedures in response to a "massive influx of personnel", calling for additional staff.

The Saskatchewan Health Department did not specify how many people were injured and killed in knife-wounding incidents, but said it was classifying multiple people at multiple locations.

The Alberta and Regina Police Departments are assisting the RCMP in finding two suspects. Regina police said they were conducting an investigation from multiple lines to locate and apprehend the suspect.
