This comrade Liu Kunmo is the first wife of President Peng.
Peng Dehuai was born poor, joined the Xiang Army at the age of 18, and in 1922, Peng Dehuai was wanted to escape back to his hometown because of his unfair fighting, killed a bully, and fled back to his hometown.
At that time, Peng Dehuai was already 24 years old, and he was already an elderly youth in that era, and the family found him a woman.
This woman is also not an outsider, it is the sister of Peng Dehuai's little Liu Yufeng, and both families know the roots, so they quickly agreed to the marriage.
This woman is a child of a poor family, not even a name, everyone calls her "little sister", after all, Peng Dehuai has been in the army for several years, has insight, he gave her a name, called Liu Kunmo, taking the meaning of "female kun, female model".
However, at that time, Liu Kunmo was only 12 years old, not yet an adult, and her body was very thin, Peng Dehuai treated her like a sister and never lived a conjugal life with her.
Many years later, Liu Kunmo also recalled: "My marriage to Dehuai was held on the seventh day of the third month of the lunar calendar in 1922, just like the big girl, sitting on a red palanquin, worshiping heaven and earth. Because I was young at the time, less than 12 years old, Dehuai lived together in order to take care of my body, but did not live as a couple. ”
Not long after, Peng Dehuai returned to the army again as a soldier, and later joined the revolution, joined the Communist Party, and never returned to his hometown.
Liu Kunmo, who stayed in his hometown, was targeted by the Kuomintang reactionaries because of his status as a "bandit", and Liu Kunmo had to hide everywhere and go to Shanghai, Wuhan and other places to make a living, and his life was very difficult.
When he was in Wuhan, Liu Kunmo once occasionally heard people say that Peng Dehuai, the "leader of the Bandits" of the Red Army, was killed, and Liu Kunmo suddenly exploded like five thunderbolts and fainted on the spot.
Later, in order to survive, Liu Kunmo was introduced by someone and married a teaching gentleman named Xu Renwu.
It was not until after the outbreak of the All-out War of Resistance in 1937 that Liu Kunmo learned from the newspaper that Peng Dehuai was still alive, and he immediately entrusted someone to write him a letter to go to Yan'an to find him.
After Peng Dehuai received the letter, he was also very happy, so he asked her to go to Xi'an to find Lin Boqu and let Lin Boqu arrange it.
The reunion of husband and wife was originally a great joy, but when Peng Dehuai learned that Liu Kunmo had remarried, he was discouraged, because the Communist Party had a rule that he must be monogamous, and it was impossible for him to reunite with Liu Kunmo.
In October 1938, Peng Dehuai married Pu Anxiu, and Liu Kunmo also accepted this reality, and in 1939 he married Ren Chuxuan, director of the Business Department of the People's Bank of Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region.
After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Liu Kunmo followed her husband to work in Beijing, Harbin and other places, and Mr. Peng often cared about their lives, and the relationship between the two families has always been very good.

In 1962, Because he couldn't stand the pressure, he chose to divorce Peng Dehuai, which made Peng Dehuai very sad, and later said to people: "If Kun Mo is here, she will never leave me." ”
In 1980, Peng Gang, the niece of Mr. Peng, went to Harbin and met Liu Kunmo, and when the two recalled Peng Dehuai, especially after learning about Pu Anxiu's divorce, Liu Kunmo said to Peng Gang: "Unfortunately, I didn't know all this at the time, if I knew, I would definitely go to Beijing to take care of him!" ”
When the two separated, Liu Kunmo took Peng Gang's hand and said, "I am very grateful to Dehuai, if there were no him, there would be no me now." ”
In 1987, Liu Kunmo returned to Peng Dehuai's hometown to visit and wrote a poem: "The horizontal knife does not see anyone, and the wushi Burmese is majestic." Huaxia Kai Xinyu, Yu remembers the great general. ”
In 1993, Liu Kunmo died in Harbin at the age of 83.
