An original poem

Cicadas

Author/Grandpa Yu

The sound of cicadas

Slowly disappear in the autumn light

But that high octave chirp

It was brought together into a harvest song

Inscribed in the summer crop fields

Keep on top of high barn piles

The sound of cicadas

Sent away by the autumn wind

But its affectionate calling

Surrounded by heaven and earth

It was freezing three days of sweltering heat

It cooled off the farmhouse

The sound of cicadas has been broken

Golden cicadas become immortals

It leaves a precious legacy

It is a grain of golden notes

To compose the beauty of nature

Go and sing the song of the harvest
