For a large number of Taiwan compatriots being persecuted, the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia recently issued relevant assistance notices, and has successively received more than a dozen requests for assistance from Taiwan compatriots by telephone and e-mail. Many of them are forced to engage in online gambling and extortion activities and telecommunications fraud, and their personal freedom is restricted. The Chinese Embassy in Cambodia is actively communicating with the local police department to supervise the handling of relevant cases.
However, in the face of the motherland's mainland's assistance to the Taiwan compatriots, the Taiwan authorities went so far as to declare that the matter would not be ceded to others to do the work for them. This is a typical act of rudeness and irrationality by the Taiwan authorities. This incident exposed three problems with the Taiwan authorities:
The first is to do nothing against the insults and persecution of Taiwan compatriots. However, the mainland of the motherland has provided assistance to the Taiwan compatriots, but the Taiwan authorities have behaved extremely indifferently, not appreciatively, and thanked them, which runs counter to the right path and common sense in the world, which is really infuriating.
Third, it is not responsible to the broad masses of the People of Taiwan. The DPP authorities have been insulted and persecuted overseas by Taiwan compatriots, pretending not to know and being unable to provide assistance and protection. However, in the case of the mainland of the motherland's assistance, the Taiwan authorities not only did not appreciate it, but also made cold remarks. This is a typical example of the Taiwan authorities being irresponsible to the people of Taiwan, not supporting a blue sky for their compatriots, and politicizing and playing a role in the safety of the people's lives.
