"To complete an early diagnosis, it is necessary to be able to stably detect circulatory abnormal cells (CAC) associated with lung cancer in the blood and perform multidimensional analysis in conjunction with changes in CT images." Ye Xin introduced that for the early diagnosis of lung cancer, it is difficult to give a scientific diagnosis in a timely and accurate manner based on single-dimensional imaging examination. Because the significance of early lung cancer diagnosis is very clear and important, this has also become the premise and opportunity for AI technology to intervene in the early diagnosis of lung cancer as an auxiliary tool.

AI assists in tumor diagnosis

With the rapid development of AI technology in recent years, it has become more and more widely used in the field of medical imaging, especially in tumor imaging. The application of AI technology helps to improve the speed and accuracy of diagnosis by imaging physicians and pathologists, reduce the rate of missed diagnosis and misdiagnosis, and can avoid differences between physicians, reduce the workload of work, and have broad application prospects in lung cancer diagnosis and treatment.

"The tumor liquid biopsy technology that our company mainly researches is actually the use of AI technology to empower the early diagnosis technology of tumors." Ye Xin introduced that compared with traditional tissue biopsy, the advantage of liquid biopsy is that it is non-interventional and reproducible to obtain tumor samples, which has small side effects, simple operation, low cost, and fast detection speed, which reduces the deviation caused by tumor heterogeneity to diagnosis and can also respond to the dynamic changes of tumor development in a timely manner.

"The company's core technology is to be able to use the very rare tumor substances in human body fluids, such as tumor cells or free nucleic acids, to use the cross-border combination of biotechnology and artificial intelligence technology to isolate them from high purity and analyze and diagnose them." Ye Xin said that the CAC-AI analysis technology based on circulating abnormal cells developed by Sheng'ao Yunzhi and the CT-AI technology based on chest CT images can jointly complete the cytological and imaging discrimination of patients' lung nodules.

Compared with the traditional detection methods that rely more on professional detection equipment or testing personnel, ai-enabled early tumor diagnosis technology is more flexible. Ye Xin said that they linked the high-quality medical resources of the top three hospitals to create a mobile lung cancer early screening service station, which can be transformed into a "mobile health screening car" to cover areas with scarce medical resources. "Early screening and early diagnosis and early treatment of lung cancer for high-risk groups can bring high-quality diagnosis and treatment integration technology to the grass-roots people." He said.

Ye Xin's words also attracted continuous applause from the audience. Dr. Wang, who has been engaged in the medical industry for many years, told reporters, "Tumor early screening is a 'brain-burning' job, which requires doctors to maintain a high state of tension, and it is easy to get tired after a day of work."
