Prohm Saroeun, director of the Office of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage of the Provincial Police Department, said on the morning of the 24th that the five Buddha statues found by the villagers of Zhongjia County while digging the ground were handed over to the police on the 7th of this month, and then the bureau continued to hand them over to the Provincial Cultural Bureau for safekeeping.
Hong Yoeun, director of the Provincial Bureau of Culture and Arts, said that according to expert inspections, the Buddha statue was found to be made of copper, and the Buddha statue is currently placed in the Oudo Mianzhi Provincial Museum.
