According to Cambodian media sources, on August 6, in the suburbs of Leisi in Phnom Penh City, because of dissatisfaction with his brother's back, a Cambodian man shot and killed his brother in anger and was arrested by the police.
It is reported that the suspect is Sukong, 30 years old, Cambodian nationality, living in Kratie Province.
According to the police, at 8:00 a.m. on August 5, the suspect shot and killed his own brother in The province of Kratie, and when the provincial criminal police learned of it, they immediately intervened in the investigation and hunted down the suspect. On August 6, the police obtained a clue to arrest the suspect at a hotel on the outskirts of Leisi in Phnom Penh City, where they seized 1 pistol, 12 bullets, 3 bags of drugs, a weighing machine and other evidence.
After interrogation, the suspect confessed that when he was educating his brother, the younger brother suddenly resisted and, in a fit of rage, shot his brother with a gun. Because of the serious head injury, his brother died on the spot, and immediately after the incident, he fled the scene and went to Phnom Penh to take refuge.
At present, the police have escorted the above suspects to the provincial primary court for treatment in accordance with the law.
