2. Chinese mainland imports of Chinese medicinal materials from Taiwan
To say that the mainland imports Chinese medicinal materials from Taiwan, there are really very few and lackluster, and the only medicinal materials that Taiwan can supply to the mainland are betel nut, longan and some marine animal medicinal materials. In the whole year of 2021, the mainland only imported 226 tons of Chinese medicinal materials from Taiwan, and the import volume was only a mere 620,000 US dollars, accounting for less than 1% of the total number of imported medicinal materials in Chinese mainland, which is negligible level, and none of these varieties are unique to Taiwan, they can be imported from other neighboring regions and countries, and the medicinal materials imported from Taiwan are not irreplaceable for the mainland!

3. If the trade in medicinal materials to Taichung is stopped, what will be the consequences?
