In view of the historical feud between Iran and the Afghan Taliban, compared with past conflicts, it is believed that this skirmish will not have much impact on the current weakening relationship between the two sides. However, after all, the conflict still needs to be handled cautiously for the negative impact of bilateral relations, especially to guard against a very small number of countries fanning the flames and deliberately sabotaging them. As a result of the implementation by the Kosovo authorities of a ban on Serbian license plates and documents starting on the 1st of this month, all documents originally owned by Serbs will be invalidated and replaced with Kosovo documents. This is unacceptable to the Serbs, who have always treated Kosovo as Serbian territory, and as a result, large-scale protests have erupted among Serb demonstrators in northern Kosovo. The Kosovo authorities not only accused Serbia of "inciting protests" behind its backs and deliberately destabilizing Kosovo, but also of learning from Russia and trying to repeat the "Putin playbook", but also immediately closed two border crossings to Serbia.
In this regard, Serbian President Vucic said that Serbia would not surrender because of this, and accused the Kosovo authorities of pretending to be a so-called victim, hoping that the problem could be resolved as soon as possible. Although the ban has been postponed until the 1st of next month under pressure from the United States and Europe, this will not fundamentally solve the problem. Russia condemns the postponement decision of the Kosovo authorities and the perfunctory intervention of the West.
