Tender loofah can be eaten as a vegetable, and has medicinal value, can reduce suppressed sugar, and is a green and healthy food. Old loofahs can grow to a foot or two long, as thick as an arm. Such large loofahs will remain until the winter when they dry out, peeled and seeded loofahs, and used as a rag to wash dishes and shabu-shabu. This is also the way that rural people have passed on their resources for generations to make the most of it.
Another small seedling, the leaves are round and fan-shaped, thin, the veins on the leaf surface are as clear as blood vessels, much like the appearance of apricot leaves, but it has nothing to do with the apricot tree, it is a perennial woody plant, yellow oak, a small tree or shrub. Adult yellow oak can grow to 5-8 meters tall. This tree has a certain ornamental nature, and some people use its old piles to make bonsai. This is mainly because the leaves of the yellow oak tree fall late, and after the temperature cools, the leaves of the yellow oak tree will turn bright fiery red.
Yellow oak trees, along with persimmon trees, pentagram trees, tang trees, and chicken claw maple trees, use a common name - red leaves!
The two clusters of young green plants in the picture do not look very different, and there seems to be some similarity: tender green, oily little... But they are one herb, one woody, one with a life cycle of only a few months, and the other with a life cycle of more than a hundred and ten years...
