More than 40 kinds of grapes have been planted on more than 20 acres of land, and the Jinjing Vineyard in Sigang Town can be called "grape new product test field". At present, the grapes of many varieties such as "Sunshine Rose", "Damina" and "Drunken Golden Fragrance" in the garden have been listed one after another, and many old customers have placed orders early, so that the sales in the park are as hot as the weather.
When the reporter came to Jinliang Vineyard a few days ago, the phone here was ringing non-stop, and the person in charge Li Qing answered one after another. On the side, the staff who packed the gift box unpacked, pruned, picked the fruit, and gently placed four different grapes into the same gift box. Li Qing told reporters that this summer's high temperature and little rain, the temperature difference between day and night is greater than in previous years, the climatic conditions are conducive to the growth of drought-loving grapes, and the quality has also improved a lot.
Jinliang Vineyard is an old vineyard that has been in operation for more than 20 years, and is also a test base for the Shanghai Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the School of Agriculture and Biology of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. With the technical support of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences, there are more than 40 varieties of grapes introduced here, including "Queen Nina", "Sunshine Rose", "Sweet Sapphire", "Damina", "Momotaro", "Moldova", etc., and almost all "net red" grapes can be seen here.
Since the soil of The Harbor is biased towards clay soil, it is moist and fertile, and it is suitable for growing rice but not for growing grapes. In order to improve the soil quality and cultivate high-standard grapes, Li Qing has put a lot of thought into it over the years. In addition to regular soil ploughing and pumping, 60 tons of organic fertilizer are invested every year. Li Qing set aside 2 acres of land in the park, and from the early days of the vineyard to the present, he has to introduce new products from all over the world every year. This year, two new varieties were introduced from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, one is the "ink fragrance" with large and seedless grains, and the other is the "Sunshine Thirteen" that is better than the "Sunshine Rose", which is expected to be listed in 2024.
According to reports, in order to ensure the best quality of grapes, each fruit tree in the park is limited in production and quantity, and each bunch of grapes from fruit to maturity has been thinned and grained, and each panicle maintains a limited number of grains to ensure adequate supply of nutrients. Li Qing also formulated a set of quality standards for each grape, taking "Sunshine Rose" as an example, each bunch weighs 500 to 800 grams, the number of fruit grains is 45 to 50 grains, and the sugar degree must be above 18 degrees to be qualified. Under the meticulous management of Li Qing, the grapes in the park have obtained the A-level certification of China Green Food and won the gold medal in the national grape competition for many times.
