When is the most beautiful time to spend?
Just when the buds are about to bloom
When is love the most moving?
That's the moment when your heart is touched
When is life loneliest?
Just the moment when I suddenly think of you
……
That past is all about the past
When I look back
Are you still just what you are?
So how do artists express the emotions of this moment?
The English painter Anne Magill is worth seeing.
Anne Magill was born in Northern Ireland in 1962.
He graduated from St Martin's School of Art in London in 1984.
She has won four B&H Illustration Awards.
She would revisit each painting after the previous one had dried it.
Then deepen the shadows, raise the highlights,
Or change the angle at which the light hits the character,
Or consider expressing what she is looking for when the next layer of pigment comes
Although her words are vague, this expresses a wealth of emotions,
Instead, it brings the image to life.
Her paintings depict silent scenes,
It looks like a memory frozen in time
Allows the viewer to weave a story for these scenes from their own imagination.
Her paintings are like old photographs found in flea markets,
The painting also uses the texture and appearance of old photographs,
That elusive picture has a memory side.
So our imagination is stimulated, guided, controlled
That's why stories and poems happen.
