In 1986, Song Yin was born in Shanghai, when she was a child, her parents were busy at work, and she was accompanied by her favorite cartoon "Shuk and Beta", that is, at that time, flying into the blue sky and stepping out of the sea became the budding dream of the little girl.

As early as 2001, in Pudong, Shanghai, the Ministry of Transport established the first flying team in the mainland, the First East China Sea Flying Team engaged in maritime search and rescue air rescue, referred to as "Dongyi Fei".

In November 2010, Song Yin ushered in his first rescue mission.

While working at sea, a fisherman accidentally fractured his lower leg and was unable to allow the fishing boat and his companions to return to the sea.

At this time, Song Yin, who was the co-driver on duty, received the task and immediately rushed to the scene with the team personnel.

Just arrived at the scene, Song Yin found that many conditions are different from the usual training, usually training, the deck is relatively stable, and there are no obstacles.

At the end of 2014, Song Yin officially became a maritime search and rescue captain and the first generation of female search and rescue captains in China.

In December 2016, a rescue call was received, and the cabin of a fishing boat caught fire, and other boats could not get close to the rescue due to the high winds and waves on that day.

As the captain on duty that day, Song Yin immediately threw himself into the rescue mission.

However, not long after Song Yin took off, he received news from the duty room that the location of the distressed person was more than 20 nautical miles different from the coordinates on the mission book, and the amount of fuel carried by the helicopter was limited, which meant that the time of on-site operation would be greatly shortened by 15 minutes.

However, what everyone did not expect was that there was an even worse situation waiting for them at the search and rescue site.

When the first plane arrived at the scene, the sea phenomenon became even worse, because of the fire, the ship in distress that lost power flowed like a wild horse out of control, flowing with the wind in the dark and heavy sea.

Not only that, but the smoke from the burning ship had an impact on the plane's engine, and Song Yin had to choose a higher altitude hover than ever before.

The strong wind made the lifeguards in the transfer swing like a swing, swinging higher and higher, at this time, all the members of the rescue team, did not dare to blink their eyes, stared at the lifeguard deadly, afraid that he would hit the obstacles on the fire ship.

As the first generation of female search and rescue captains in the mainland, Song Yin has long been rooted in the front line and adhered to the sea frontier of the East China Sea. In the past 14 years, she has shuttled through the sea of clouds and saved people from danger, flying a total of 3276 hours, performing 298 rescue missions with the crew, participating in 1054 hours of rescue flights, and successfully rescued 222 people in distress in the turbulent waves.

Each time it is hovering on the line of life and death. However, no matter how dangerous it is, Song Yin always adheres to the rescue spirit of "giving the hope of life to others and keeping the danger of death to himself".
