However, perhaps many people do not know that this film is based on real rescue events, and the prototype of the heroine in the film is the protagonist of our story today- Song Yin.

In 1986, Song Yin was born in Shanghai, when she was a child, her parents were busy at work, and she was accompanied by her favorite cartoon "Shuk and Beta", that is, at that time, flying into the blue sky and stepping out of the sea became the budding dream of the little girl.
In 2007, Song Yin graduated from Shanghai Maritime University, just when the flying team went to the school to select pilots, unexpectedly, originally with the mentality of trying, he signed up, but he passed the pass and became the first batch of female pilots of the Rescue Flight Team of the Ministry of Communications.
As early as 2001, in Pudong, Shanghai, the Ministry of Transport established the first flying team in the mainland, the First East China Sea Flying Team engaged in maritime search and rescue air rescue, referred to as "Dongyi Fei".
Many people don't know what this kind of team is for. To put it simply, about 770,000 square kilometers of sea area in the eastern part of the mainland are under the responsibility of Dongyifei.
Ship in distress or distress, fixed facilities personnel search and rescue, as well as the mainland space launch maritime cruise law enforcement, maritime emergency support are all rescued or carried out by Dongyifei, if encountering major activities in other countries, Dongyifei is also responsible for its own security tasks.
However, the female pilot's aura was not yet hot, and what awaited Song Yin was the harsh screening she had never expected.
According to the requirements, Song Yin and 2 female teammates and 6 male teammates went to the Adelaide Flight Academy in Australia, which is famous for its harshness, to learn flying techniques.
Many years later, Song Yin recalled the experience of studying in Australia, and he still had palpitations, and during those 15 months, it was not so much flight learning as devil training.
In the Devil's Camp, the first level that Song Yin and his teammates encountered was the language level.
Because it is all English teaching, in order to adapt to the rhythm as soon as possible, Song Yin has made a strict study schedule for herself, starting at 8 o'clock every morning until 3 o'clock in the morning, 15 months later, the books she has read are stacked up, higher than her height. If it is very difficult to learn a language, then the practical exercises that follow are truly anti-human. During flight training, the second level that Song Yin and his teammates encountered was that the brain and hands could never fit the beat.
In order to exercise good coordination, when not in class, Song Yin will be in the simulation room, desperately practicing operations, once, twice... I can't count how many times I practiced until the operation turned into muscle memory.
After passing the basic operation, the most "perverted" training is the physical training in the simulation practice cabin.
The practice cabin was filled with water, and Song Yin and his teammates would be put into an iron cage and then thrown into the water, when the water wave flooded the body, the huge water pressure oppressed the brain, Song Yin felt that he and the god of death could be so close, and the training requirement was: even if you are on the verge of death, you must remain calm. In addition, there are many kinds of subjects for training, and to become an ambulance pilot, you must pass 14 rigorous exams.
Everything here requires absolute perseverance, and if you can't get through it, you have to leave, and one of the female teammates is not spared.
Finally, Song Yin lived up to expectations, passed the ultimate exam, and became China's first generation of female rescue helicopter pilots.

While being proud, Song Yin must face that it is much more difficult than imagined to become a qualified search and rescue pilot.
In November 2010, Song Yin ushered in his first rescue mission.
While working at sea, a fisherman accidentally fractured his lower leg and was unable to allow the fishing boat and his companions to return to the sea.
At this time, Song Yin, who was the co-driver on duty, received the task and immediately rushed to the scene with the team personnel.
Just arrived at the scene, Song Yin found that many conditions are different from the usual training, usually training, the deck is relatively stable, and there are no obstacles.
The rescue site is the opposite, not only the sea climate is changeable, but also the fishing boats are also swaying in the wind and waves, and there is a possibility of being overturned at any time.
The helicopter has to stay very smoothly in the air, even a little movement, it may cause the lifeguards below to hit obstacles, causing life danger.
However, song Yin in the cabin could not see the specific situation of the outside window, and could only rely on the password of the winch driver and his own experience to maintain the stability and balance of the helicopter.
In the eyes of most people, Song Yin, who wears a handsome uniform and drives a helicopter to take charge of sea rescue, is simply cool.
But behind the glamorous, there is an unknown hardship and mission.
365 days a year on duty, 24 hours on standby, this is Song Yin's working state.
There is no air conditioning in the rescue helicopter, cold in winter and hot in summer, especially in summer, the cabin often reaches a high temperature of 40 degrees, go out to rescue a trip, clothes can carry out water.
These physical sufferings are nothing, the most dangerous is the rescue scene, during the rescue, the helicopter hovers above the ship, and the stop is more than half an hour.
But because it is impossible to see the situation of dangerous ships, the pilot can only look at the experience and the instructions of the winch (responsible for helicopter lifting), which is a great challenge for the pilot.
If not properly operated, the aircraft may be dragged into the sea at any time.
Data surveys show that pilots who use helicopters to take off and land on non-aircraft carriers are about 5 times more likely to be life-threatening than astronauts, 10 times more likely to jet-fly bombers, and 54 times more likely to be civil aviation pilots.
At first, Song Yin's parents strongly disagreed with their daughter's choice, but Song Yin advised his parents: "I am willing to do this job, this is not just flying, but to give the hope of life to others, and to keep the danger of death to myself." ”
At the end of 2014, Song Yin officially became a maritime search and rescue captain and the first generation of female search and rescue captains in China.

At the scene of rescue and search and rescue, the figure of the rescue team members is a glimmer of life for those in distress at sea, and every glimmer of life of those who are killed is actually a life and death test for Song Yin.
In December 2016, a rescue call was received, and the cabin of a fishing boat caught fire, and other boats could not get close to the rescue due to the high winds and waves on that day.
As the captain on duty that day, Song Yin immediately threw himself into the rescue mission.
However, not long after Song Yin took off, he received news from the duty room that the location of the distressed person was more than 20 nautical miles different from the coordinates on the mission book, and the amount of fuel carried by the helicopter was limited, which meant that the time of on-site operation would be greatly shortened by 15 minutes.
However, what everyone did not expect was that there was an even worse situation waiting for them at the search and rescue site.
When the first plane arrived at the scene, the sea phenomenon became even worse, because of the fire, the ship in distress that lost power flowed like a wild horse out of control, flowing with the wind in the dark and heavy sea.
Not only that, but the smoke from the burning ship had an impact on the plane's engine, and Song Yin had to choose a higher altitude hover than ever before.
The strong wind made the lifeguards in the transfer swing like a swing, swinging higher and higher, at this time, all the members of the rescue team, did not dare to blink their eyes, stared at the lifeguard deadly, afraid that he would hit the obstacles on the fire ship.
As the difficulty of rescue increased again, Song Yin understood that everyone's life was in his own hands, and his judgment was not accurate, and it was very likely that he would destroy people by chance.
Resisting the pressure, Song Yin tried his best to control the plane, and in the instant when the plane and the ship were relatively stable, the lifeguard was safely placed on the deck, and then, relaying at the fastest speed, rescued all 10 crew members.
In this rescue, it is worth mentioning that the last person to leave the fire ship was the lifeguard in Song Yin's team.
In preparation for training, Song Yin was once asked such a question, if the aircraft has reached the minimum amount of return fuel, should the last remaining person in distress be rescued?
At that time, in the classroom, the teacher gave the answer that as a captain, you should remain rational and make the decision to return to the ship for the effective rescue of all personnel.
However, when it came to the actual rescue work, looking at the living life that could be swallowed at any time, Song Yin found that she still couldn't help but seek other ways to save all the people, which was the death order she gave herself.
As the first generation of female search and rescue captains in the mainland, Song Yin has long been rooted in the front line and adhered to the sea frontier of the East China Sea. In the past 14 years, she has shuttled through the sea of clouds and saved people from danger, flying a total of 3276 hours, performing 298 rescue missions with the crew, participating in 1054 hours of rescue flights, and successfully rescued 222 people in distress in the turbulent waves.
Each time it is hovering on the line of life and death. However, no matter how dangerous it is, Song Yin always adheres to the rescue spirit of "giving the hope of life to others and keeping the danger of death to himself".
As a search and rescue captain, in addition to saving people, Song Yin also has to bring the plane and crew members back to the airport safely, the whole process, in addition to having a cool head to anticipate danger at any time, but also have a strong heart to withstand the pressure.
