Ruhiye Yalgın was born in Baltin, Turkey in 1964. In 1985, Ruhiye graduated from the Faculty of Vocational Education of Gazi University. After graduation, Ruhiye worked as a ceramic studio designer. She began her career as a painting teacher in 1989.
