Beijing, July 9 (China Youth Daily, China Youth Daily reporter Ma Ziqian) On July 8, the fifth "Silk Road Youth Dream Hui" - "Happy Deer Deer Into Colorful Pakistan" Cultural Night was held at the Pakistani Embassy in China.

As one of the series of theme activities of "Looking at China Today, Seeking Global Development", the fifth "Silk Road Youth Dream Hub" is guided by the International Liaison Department of the CPC Central Committee and the General Administration of Sport of the State, and co-sponsored by the Association for the Promotion of International Exchanges of Chinese Non-Governmental Organizations, the Silk Road City Alliance, the China Friendship and Peace Development Foundation and the Beijing Silk Road Cooperation and Development Promotion Association.

According to the organizers, the "Silk Road Youth Dream Exchange" activity aims to strengthen mutual learning among civilizations, enhance friendly exchanges between Chinese and foreign youth, and build a bridge between different cultures. Through walking, speeches, music, photography, sand painting, intangible cultural and creative design competitions, participants interpreted young people's understanding, actions and pursuits of green travel, low-carbon life, colorful culture and youth dreams. The mascot of this event, "Xilulu", departed from Beijing on May 1, leading the youth of the Silk Road to chase their dreams along the Silk Road, calling for peace, health, unity, green development and common prosperity. Up to now, more than 1,600 people have participated in the activities, with a total of more than 50,000 kilometers, and the route passes through Hebei, Henan, Shaanxi, Chongqing, Sichuan, Ningxia, Gansu, Qinghai and Xinjiang, and smoothly enters Pakistan.

On July 8, Pakistan's ambassador to China Moin Haq said in a meeting with Li Jun, vice president of the China Non-Governmental Organizations Association for the Promotion of International Exchanges, and Li Xikui, vice president of the association for friendship with foreign countries of Chinese, who were the organizers of the event, saying that china-Pakistan youth exchanges are very important and are the basis for continuing the steel-like friendship between the two countries. The Pakistani government and the Embassy in China attach great importance to and vigorously support the "Silk Road Youth Dream Exchange" activity, believing that the "Happy Deer Entering Pakistan" will surely achieve fruitful results and further promote people-to-people exchanges between the two countries.

Sera Raza, Pakistan's cultural media commissioner in China, said that Pakistan and China have carried out a series of fruitful exchanges and cooperation in the fields of art, literature, education, journalism and sports. In the future, the two countries will jointly build a cultural industry community and build a cultural sharing ecosystem.

In his speech on behalf of the organizers, Li Jun stressed that youth breed unlimited hope and young people create a better future. The "Silk Road Youth Dream Hub" activity aims to promote young people from all countries along the "Belt and Road" to enhance understanding and deepen friendship, and build a very good platform for young people to show their style and pursue their dreams. It is believed that with the joint support of all sectors of society in the countries along the "Belt and Road", young people will work together to sow the seeds of people-to-people ties to more corners around the world.

In the cultural night activities, Young Chinese singer Wang Zifei, Peking Opera performance artist Dong Fei, and Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) youth Vannel also brought wonderful performances. Nearly 100 people, including Sri Lankan ambassador to China Palita Kohona, envoys from Moldova, the Netherlands, Malaysia and Maldives, and Silk Road youth attended the event.
