On June 8, 1972, a southern Vietnamese Air Force aircraft swooped down and dropped a solidified incendiary bomb on Route One.

A nine-year-old girl, Kim Sook, whose clothes were set on fire by a bomb, had to rip off her burning clothes and run naked, the pain causing her to scream with tears in her heart.

23 years later, the little girl Kim Sook, who panicked and fled for her life, already has a child of her own, and there are many clear burn scars on her back that can be clearly seen in this photo.

Ironically, Kim Sook later emigrated to the United States and was appointed ambassador for peace by the United Nations, where she has been traveling between different countries around the world over the years to tell people about the true meaning of war and peace.
