What is less known is that Luo Yuan was also a military expert who had been on the battlefield and participated in the aid of the elderly to resist the United States.

Luo Yuan was born in 1950 in Cangxi County, Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province. Luo Yuan's father, Luo Qingchang, was an old Red Army veteran who had long been engaged in underground work during the revolutionary war, and was also a veteran-level figure on the hidden front of our Party, one of the capable generals under Li Kenong, the "king of secret agents."

After the founding of the People's Republic of China, although Luo Qingchang held a high position, he was very strict about the education of his children. Luo Qingchang often taught Luo Yuan's brothers that they must mingle with the common people and must not have the idea of "self-red.". Therefore, Luo Yuan's friends are all children of ordinary families, and no one knows his true identity.

In 1968, Luo Yuan joined the army and was assigned to the Guard Regiment of the Yunnan Provincial Military Region. In November 1969, the Central Military Commission re-established the 11th Army (Dong Zhanlin and Wang Yukun were appointed as military and political chiefs). In this context, Luo Yuan was transferred to the 32nd Division of the 11th Army with the reorganization of the Guard Regiment.

Luo Yuan suffered a lot at the grass-roots level, and was elected as a training pacesetter for the company and an excellent staff officer for the regimental organs. Because of his excellent military and political quality, Luo Yuan was recognized by Dong Zhanlin and was transferred to the Military Training Office as a training staff officer. Here, Luo Yuan met Lieutenant General He Qizong, who was also a staff officer at the time.

What a simple one, this is a legendary warrior. He Qizong was born in March 1943, a native of Yingshan, Sichuan. In August 1961, He Qizong joined the army and later served as Dong Zhanlin's guard. Dong Zhanlin attaches great importance to what a sect, and has been promoting intentional cultivation along the way.

Facts have proved that Dong Zhanlin's vision is very poisonous, and He Qizong later performed well in the counterattack against Vietnam and played a role in the national prestige and military might. During his time in the training office, Luo Yuan and He Qizong had a good appetite in all aspects, and over time the two became close comrades-in-arms with each other.

Although the relationship between the two is good, once they encounter different views, they must be tit-for-tat, verbal and sword-wielding, and no one will let anyone, which is quite a swordsman. The author would like to say that Luo Yuan, He Qizong, and Liu Xuebin, another staff officer of the Training Office, were called "Three Musketeers" at the time.

At the end of 1972, the military organs were ordered to prepare a working group to participate in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid the Elderly, and to organize and coordinate the combat operations of the 11th Army to aid the elderly. Luo Yuan was happy to hear about the war and responded to the call of his superiors to actively sign up for the war. When Luo Yuan went to the battlefield, He Qizong was a close comrade-in-arms.

Before entering the border, Luo Yuan was stationed in Mengla with his troops. During this period, Luo Yuan wrote a letter to his father. Due to the high degree of secrecy of the military operation, Luo Yuan could not reveal his whereabouts, let alone tell his family what he was doing.

Or the special tacit understanding between father and son, Luo Yuan wrote a poem that his father often recited in the letter: "Qingshan is buried everywhere loyal bones, why should Ma Ge wrap the body back." Truly in a foreign country, Luo Yuan experienced the cruelty of war for the first time.

At that time, Luo Yuan was responsible for organizing the change of defense of the anti-aircraft artillery unit, and the anti-aircraft artillery battalion of the ministry had just finished a battle, and there were some casualties, which made Luo Yuan feel the parting of life and death on the battlefield. Despite this, Luo Yuan strengthened his belief in being born of war.

Luo Yuan is not only capable of fighting but also good at writing, and belongs to the typical military and political professional soldiers. Luo Yuanrong was in a hurry, and did not forget to pick up the book to absorb nutrition. Just as the so-called "reading books break through ten thousand volumes, the next pen is like a god", Luo Yuan's pen pole kung fu has been improved.

As soon as he had time, Luo Yuan submitted articles to the magazine "Military Academy" sponsored by the Academy of Military Sciences. Over time, Luo Yuan's articles frequently appeared in "Military Scholarship" and became a practical combat soldier with a strong scholarly atmosphere.

In January 1978, Luo Yuan was officially transferred to the Academy of Military Sciences to engage in military theory research. In the years since, Luo Yuan has successively entered the Shijiazhuang Senior Army Academy, the PLA Institute of International Relations, and the National Defense University for further study.

Luo Yuan's views are clear-cut, always able to inspire people in the silent place, and the words are very tough. Therefore, Luo Yuan is respected by netizens as a "hawkish scholar".

You can look at Luo Yuan's words of pearl jade, and you can feel his different iron-blooded style:

The army is a special armed group that must be constantly prepared and cannot be built in peacetime. To tell the truth, there are no peacetimes for soldiers, only periods for fighting and preparing for war.

Especially in the Internet era, Luo Yuan's voice is always respectful. Soldiers who have experienced war know the true meaning of peace. In a sense, Luo Yuan is the "eagle guts pigeon soul"...
