In the end, Farouq could only issue an abdication edict on July 26, and in order to ensure preferential treatment in his later years, he exiled to Greece on the royal yacht Mahrusa, and Egypt abolished the monarchy.
As Farouq lost power, his former lovers left him, and even Queen Nariman went through the divorce with Farouk in 1954. The king gradually withdrew from the social scene.
Until March 18, 1965, the news came that Farouk died in San Camillo, Rome, Italy, at the age of 45, according to reports, Farouq's last lunch before his death, actually ate 12 large lobsters, 10 oysters, 8 fish, 5 bowls of fried rice, including cheese, jam, flatbread, beans, vegetables and fruits, as a result, after eating Farouq felt unwell, lay on the sofa and died shortly after being sent to the hospital, thus ending his hasty life.
