Compared with the Tang Dynasty, the gold jewelry of the Han Dynasty is more ancient and has the temperament of the pre-Qin and Warring States periods. The Tang Dynasty was diverse and inclusive, and the ornamental shapes were more abundant.

This "Beast and Bear Griffin Gold Medal" are two pieces with a basic symmetrical pattern, which may be buckled together.
