The 2022 NBA Draft will be held tomorrow Beijing time, and will be broadcast live in 214 countries and regions through 28 different languages, on TV, computer, mobile phone, tablet and other different terminals. Let's take a look at this year's NBA Draft through a series of numbers.

3 – Duke and Kentucky are the U.S. universities that have produced the most awards for the NBA since 1966, with three each. Duke's three titles are; Elton Brand (1999), Kyrie Owen (2011) and Zion Williamson (2019). Kentucky's three pick-ups are: John Wall (2010), Anthony Davis (2012) and Carl Anthony Downs (2015).

9 – Barclays Center will host the NBA Draft for the ninth time.

12 – For the past 12 years, the selection of the first-year show has been monopolized by freshmen. The last non-freshman pick was back to 2009 with Blake Griffin, who played his sophomore season at the University of Oklahoma.

30 - The 30 players selected in the first round of the 2021 NBA Draft have all made at least one appearance in last season's NBA game.

36 – Brogdon, the 2016-17 rookie of the year, was only selected in the second round of the 2016 NBA Draft, finishing 36th overall. He is also the only rookie of the year in NBA history who has not been selected in the first round.

41 — Two-time MVP winner Nikola Jokic was only selected by the Nuggets with the 41st pick in the 2014 NBA Draft. It also makes him the lowest draft pick in NBA history, but with the exception of three-time MVP pick Moses Malone, he has never been selected by an NBA team.

1989 - The NBA Draft now has a two-round draft system, which has been in place since 1989.

Team

1 — The Orlando Magic have received the first pick in the first round for the fourth time in their history this year, following three of them in 1992 with Shaquille O'Neal, Chris Weber in 1993 and Dwight Howard in 2004.

2 — The Oklahoma Thunder have a second pick in the first round this year, the first time since 2009 that they have the right to pick a top five pick.

5 — The Detroit Pistons have a fifth pick in the first round this year, the first time in their history that they have received this pick.

7 — The Portland Trail Blazers have a seventh pick in the first round this year, their highest pick since 2012. In the 2012 draft, they picked out the current team leader Damian Lillard with the sixth pick in the first round.

1988 — The Indiana Pacers have a sixth pick in the first round this year, their highest pick since 1988. In the 1988 draft, the Pacers used the leaderboard to select Dutch interior Rick Schmitz.

3.66 — Gonzaga University interior player Chet Homegren averaged 3.66 blocks per game last season, the fourth-highest average in the NCAA First Division league block-game list.

16.3 — University of Iowa Striker Kigen Murray's average of points per game soared 16.3 points last season (from 7.2 to 23.5) compared to last season, the biggest point gain for a Big-Ten league player in nearly 49 years.

17.2 — Duke University striker Paul Banchero averaged 17.2 points per game last season, making him the nation's first-year scorer last season.

53 — University of Kansas guard Ochai Abachi has scored three-pointers in 53 consecutive games, a record in school history.

79 — Auburn University forward Jabari Smith shot 79 three-pointers last season, making him the most three-pointers in college history.

155 - Auburn University interior Walker Kessler delivered 155 blocks last season, leading the country while also breaking the school's record for a single season.

5 – Rutgers forward swingman Ron Harper Jr. is the son of Ron Harper, who has won five NBA championships in a 15-year career.

9 — Duke University forward AJ Griffin is the son of Toronto Raptors assistant coach Adrian Griffin, whose father played in the NBA for nine seasons.

10 — University of Colorado forward Jabari Walker is the son of Samaki Walker, who played in the NBA for 10 seasons and won a championship for the Los Angeles Lakers in 2001-02.

75 – Vanderbilt University guard Scotty Pippen Jr. is the son of six-time NBA champion Scotty Pippen, one of the NBA's 75 biggest stars.

905 – St. John's University forward Julian Champaign is the half-brother of Toronto Raptors forward Justin Champaigny, who played for toronto Raptors' G-League affiliate, the Raptors 905, for part of the 2021-22 rookie season.

2001 – Purdue University guard Jaden Ive is the son of Notre Dame University women's basketball coach Neil Ivey, who helped the Irish win the 2001 NCAA title before playing in the WNBA and serving as assistant coach for the Memphis Grizzlies.

2017 – Duke University center Mark Williams is the brother of Washington Mystery Mans center Elizabeth Williams, a 2017 WNBA All-Star and former standout player for the Blue Devils.

Global tournaments

2/3/4 – Defenders Dyson Daniels (Australia, NBA Global Academy, NBA G League Ignition Team), Benedict Mathurin (Canada, NBA Latin American College, University of Arizona), Lee Hyun-jung (South Korea, NBA Global Academy, Davidson College) are expected to be the second, third and fourth young talents selected by NBA teams through the NBA Academy program, and their forerunner was Josh Gidey last year. 27 — A record 27 international players were selected at the 2016 Draft, including a record 15 first-round picks and a record 12 second-round picks.

NBA G League

3 - In the 2021 NBA Draft, three players from the NBA G League Ignition Team were selected, namely The Leader's Jaylen Green, No. 7 Show Jonathan Cumminga and No. 31 Show Isaiah Todd.

5 - The 2022 NBA Draft, 5 players from the NBA G League Ignition Team, namely Marjoan Beauchamp, Dyson Daniels, Jaden Hardy, Michael Foster and Zeng Fanbo.

37 – As many as 37 of the 60 players selected for the 2021 NBA Draft have played in the G League in 2021-22, including 16 first-round picks.
