The origin of Father's Day in Italy

St. Joseph's Day dates back to the Roman era of the 14th century.
In 1479, Pope Sisto IV included the festival in the Roman calendar.
In 1570, he was officially included in the church's liturgy "Roman Rite" by Pope Pius V.
In 1871, the Catholic Church recognized St. Joseph as having a very positive father figure and declared him a benefactor for the protection of the family and the universal Church.
