When Zhu Yuanzhang died, he issued an edict to bury all 40 concubines in the Ming Tombs. Restoring human martyrdom is undoubtedly a reversal of history, and it will face pressure from social morality, but Zhu Yuanzhang has his own ideas.

Many emperors had such concerns, but did not fully implement them. But Zhu Yuanzhang is different, he has a strong desire for possession and control, even if he restores people to martyrdom.
Therefore, since Zhu Yuanzhang began, human martyrdom has almost become an ancestral system, and as a descendant, Zhu Gaozi naturally has to abide by it from a legal point of view.

The martyrdom of the Ming Dynasty did not mean that all the harem concubines had to be buried. Probably for this reason, Kim Hei was later enfeoffed as Kyung-hye, and by the time of Emperor Jongjong, he returned to Korea with other Korean women. After arriving in North Korea, Kim Hei told the whole story of the incident. Based on her account, the historian wrote the details into the Records of the Li Dynasty.
