16. "Indian Star": the most expensive Rolls-Royce in the world

The "Star of India" is a 1934 custom Rolls-Royce Phantom II made specifically for the Maharaja of Rajkot, Gujarat. Thirty-four years after its creation, the seven "stars" were sold by the grandson of the Maharajah.

42 years later, the same 14 headlights, saffron-colored interior Rolls-Royce appeared at an auction in Monaco and was bought back by the grandson of the Maharaja who sold the "star" in 1968. The Phantom II has a book value of nearly $500,000, but its importance to the Maharaja family brought its buyback price close to $8.5 million.

The northern Indian city of Lucknow boasts beautifully designed temples, delicious street food and India's most expensive dessert exotic --- made up of a range of ingredients from around the world, including American blueberries, Australian and South African nuts, European hazelnuts and more.

The most important (and expensive) ingredient in sweets is 100% edible gold leaf, and expensive candies are packed in a specially designed box that "extends shelf life by 20-30 days"

18. India's most expensive buffalo

This precious buffalo, named Bim, weighs more than 3,300 pounds, is 6 feet long from hoof to head, and is 14 feet long, Bim is a Merla breed, and it is a giant of Buffalo. Every day, the giant bull drinks about 25 liters of milk and eats 2.2 pounds of clarified butter (ghee) a week and a mixture of cashews and almonds.

At the bull market, Janjid, the man who raised Bim, testified that he refused to buy his precious buffalo for $240 million ($3.12 million). Janjid took Bim with him to a bull market to raise awareness of Bhim's declining breeds for conservation purposes.

19. Snake Village

As its name suggests, the village of Shtpar may not be a favorite place to go, as everyone feels chills on their backs about snakes and everything. The more than 2,600 villagers in Shetterpal are not worried.

They live in harmony with these creatures and build "cobra huts" in each family in case the cobra decides to stay overnight. The snakes of Shtpar are so revered that the villagers not only worship the snakes, but also let their children get along with them unattended. Incredibly, there have never been (reported) cases of deadly snake bites from any villagers.
