Last night I wrote a short poem entitled "If a man is good, he must be incense." This poem has been loved by many friends. The full poem is as follows:
The beauty of grass and trees is the flower, and the beauty of human nature is goodness.
The kindness of people is like a flower, fragrant everywhere it goes.
The flowers bloom and fall silently, and the fruits are full of warehouses in autumn.
Good people are lonely and willing to marry others.
No one understands a good heart, and a good heart will be fragrant.
The most beautiful thing in the world is kindness, and good people who are good are long and long.
It is best to be tolerant and to be a good negotiator.
There is no competition for interests, and it hurts to fight for it.
Life is originally good, only for money and wealth.
Ignorance of the heart and intestines will be sick, conscience will be sick to taste bitterness.
It is best to be kind, and good people who are kind will be incense.
The good people who make incense are loved by everyone, so why not make incense yourself?
Why did I write this poem? In fact, this is my greatest feeling about life in more than sixty years. For more than sixty years, I have gone to the countryside, served as a soldier, worked as a worker, and worked as a farmer; I have worked in a state-owned enterprise for nearly forty years, and I have experienced nearly ten jobs in multiple units. My experience is not rich, but I have also witnessed many people and things. The rich, the powerful, the famous, the obscure, the depressed, the dead who committed suicide, and so on, are not enough. So, what is the best outcome of life? My feeling is that there are no more than two words: kindness!
Kindness is beauty from within, the most essential expression of human nature. We rejoice when we feel good things, we weep when we see tragic things, we resent when we see unfair things, we feel pity when we see unfortunate things, these are all natural manifestations of goodness.
Human nature is good, but why do so many unkind acts occur? In fact, the problem is very simple: that is, when it is impossible to do good, it is often used to express the resentment in the heart with the opposite behavior. When a person's work life is more satisfactory, it is often the good side that is shown; if the work life is not satisfactory, under the influence of bad emotions, cognition is distorted, and it will do immoral things.
The complexity of the world is due to the loss of the guidance of conscience. What is conscience? It is the teachings of the ancient sages. Because we neglect to study and influence the traditional fine culture, more people pursue practical things, such as fame and fortune. In fact, fame and fortune are not a bad thing, in the social environment where there is competition, people have the instinct to seek advantages and avoid harms. Man must first think of other things in order to survive. In order to survive, it is inevitable to do something that is not in line with moral and legal norms. Thus, people are caught in the reversal of the two laws: on the one hand, they act, on the other hand, they falsify; on the other hand, they are pitiful, on the other hand, they are cruel; on the other hand, they shout slogans, on the other hand, they fake actions, and so on.
Nowadays, people seem to be getting smarter and smarter, in fact, the most beautiful part of humanity that is extinguished behind the wisdom is kindness. Unkind people are actually very difficult to figure out, so dealing with such people can feel very tired.
Between goodness and unkindness, there is also the problem of the contradiction of the two laws. For example, horses are good to be ridden, and people are good to be deceived. For this question, we have to look at it from a larger span of time and space. How to look at it from a large span of time and space? That is, from the perspective of a person's life, from the perspective of the person's family members, you will find that in human society, there is a system of balance. This balance system will be oblivious to people who do not understand, and people who understand the balance system will be very cautious. The so-called equilibrium system is karma.
Although I am not able to say this question directly, you can look at the people around you, as long as you analyze it a little, you will understand the truth that Lao Tzu said that the Skynet is restored and neglected.
Finally, I end this article with the most traditional saying: good has good rewards, evil has evil rewards, not unreported, the time has not yet come. Bad behavior, in the end, they pay for themselves.
