There are currently about 3,000 Chinese living in Rwanda, mainly in the capital Kigali. There are more than 30 large-scale Chinese-funded enterprises, mainly engaged in engineering contracting, housing construction, agriculture, engineering consulting, communications, digital television, mobile phone assembly and other business activities. At present, there are about 60 Chinese companies registered in Rwanda.
The main investment projects of Chinese enterprises in Rwanda are the production of clothing, furniture, TVB, network services, real estate, hotels, mining, mobile phone accessories, steel structure processing and many other products.
Trade items include: household appliances, building materials, mobile phones and accessories, bicycles, chemical fiber blends, clothing, machinery and equipment, agricultural tools, footwear, small hardware, ferrous metals, automobiles and auto parts and other wholesale.
In other African countries in Rwanda, there are supermarkets, hotels and inns, Chinese restaurants, and vegetable farms that operate Chinese. Alibaba has an e-commerce platform in Rwanda.
Among them, the 2000 supermarket in the picture is the largest supermarket mall in Rwanda, which was opened by a female boss in Zhejiang, China, and also runs a large hotel, which is the richest man in China in Rwanda, with assets of over 100 million.
In Rwanda, the country is relatively small, infrastructure projects are basically saturated, are state-owned enterprise construction companies in Rwanda to carry out business, state-owned enterprise engineers are generally 16,000-20,000 yuan a month, and state-owned enterprise workers can have about 16,000 yuan a month.
Chinese personnel in some factories run by Chinese in Rwanda are generally paid about 1.5 to 2 times higher than their domestic counterparts.
Rwanda Chinese relatively small, the main customers of Chinese-owned hotels and hotels are still local rich people, so they are not too affected by the epidemic, with profits of hundreds of thousands of yuan a year, and the best profits are about millions of yuan.

The next day, a nationwide massacre of Tutsi people broke out in Rwanda, which became one of the greatest tragedies of the 20th century. Rwandan officials estimate that more than 1 million people died in the massacre.
In April 2000, Paul Kagame was elected president and has been on the road to revival ever since. Paul Kagame was very wise when he declared that Rwanda would no longer distinguish between Hutu and Tutsi, both Rwandans, and eliminate ethnic hatred. China's exports to Rwanda include electronics, machinery, clothing, building materials, and processed food. China's imports from Rwanda mainly include minerals, agricultural products such as coffee, tea, peppers, stevia, and animal products such as hides and leather. China currently grants duty-free treatment to 97% of Rwanda's exports to China.
Rwanda's climate is rich in chili peppers, and the local Havana peppers are the second hottest peppers in the world. The spiciness is 4 times that of ordinary chili peppers, and the color of chili peppers is bright red and fragrant, which is a fine product of chili peppers. Such a spicy degree is suitable for spicy hot pot, etc., more suitable for the appetite of Chinese, and now this pepper has begun to be exported to China, and in the Chinese xiaolong in Rwanda has grown peppers in Rwanda to export domestically.
Rwanda's GDP in 2021 is $11.3 billion, with GDP per capita of $876. It is one of the poorest countries in the world.
The average wage for the average Rwandan workforce is $55-90 per month, and the average monthly wages for technicians are $300.
