Ukraine's deputy interior minister, Bogdan de la Piati, said Ukraine's decision to remove the symbol associated with the Russian military on electric vehicles was banned. Electric vehicle licenses will replace the letter Z with the letter Y.
The letters on Ukrainian electric vehicle licenses have reportedly been in use since September 2020, with the letter Z indicating "zero emissions."
