Li Lianzhen is a civil servant and a mother. In the face of the life changes encountered in the rescue work, how can she exert her own advantages and inject flexible power into this job, so that every service recipient can feel kindness and warmth on the way home, and also encourage more frustrated people to find the confidence to return to life? On Mother's Day, Li Lianzhen shared her rescue story.

□ A motherly heart holds up hope for the future

Since 1996, Li Lianzhen has joined the civil affairs service team, and since she joined the work, she has participated in countless rescue work, and the objects of rescue and service are hundreds of thousands, and everyone affectionately calls her "Sister Jane". But among the countless rescue cases, the most impressive thing is the story of the return of a mother and son.

"This bed was moved to the side, and it was easy to catch a cold against the air conditioner outlet; mosquitoes began to be more, and mosquito nets should be prepared in advance; prepare some soft small quilts to sleep comfortably..." Once, the guangzhou aid station management station was ready to welcome a woman Xiao Mou and her young child. Li Lianzhen meticulously and methodically arranged the dormitories in the rescue area, hoping to give them a warm beginning and harvest a happy homecoming ending. But she found that Xiao Mou was emotionally negative due to family reasons and did not ask questions about young children.

At that time, Li Lianzhen was also a mother. While enlightening Xiao Mou, she tried to unload her psychological baggage, while taking charge of the task of taking care of the child, carefully prepared various baby necessities such as diapers and milk powder for the child, and also brought her child's small cotton clothes from home. She knew that no mother would give up her child. While taking care of the child, Li Lianzhen chatted with Xiao Mou and talked about the topic of getting up as a mother, and there was always endless words.

It is under the infection of Li Lianzhen that Xiao gradually becomes closer to the child, watching the child grow up day by day, and also stimulating the motherly love that is difficult to give up in his heart. In July 2021, Xiao took his lively and lovely son and followed his family on a journey home. Sent a thank you pennant to Li Lianzhen. □ A child's heart warms the elderly man

Li Lianzhen often said that the rescue work is endless, the rescue work is no small matter, and in the face of the special difficult groups of homeless people, we must give warmth and help with a sincere heart. Many people remember that in 2017, the rescue management station received a request for help from Chen Mou - she was deaf and mute, wanted to go home, but could neither sign language nor write, completely unable to communicate, without any identity information. Because of the wandering for many years, the relevant household registration information of Chen Mou was not registered in the public security system, and the original file could not be found, which brought great difficulties to the rescue work.

When Chen first came to the aid station, he was very afraid of the unfamiliar environment. Li Lianzhen often takes Chen Mou to bask in the sun, cares about her diet and living, takes good care of her like a child and junior, is patient, and constantly tries to communicate with various ways such as body movements during the period. Under the meticulous care of Li Lianzhen, Chen slowly became familiar with the environment, the smile on his face was more, and when he saw Li Lianzhen, he pulled her to "say" non-stop, and the Guangzhou Rescue Management Station became Chen's "home" at that time.

At the same time, Li Lianzhen has never given up helping her find her real home, and in two years, Li Lianzhen has pushed her information through multiple channels such as the national rescue system, the rescue and family search network, today's headlines, and the Guangzhou Daily, without any news. But Li Lianzhen never gave up, day after day, until August 20, 2019, the municipal rescue management station received the results of the face verification matching of the police. Upon learning the news, Li Lianzhen immediately began to contact the local civil affairs department, and three days later, Chen's mother and son were reunited.

□ Half-meter-thick notebook records flexible strength

Day and night patrols, receiving personnel, responding to consultations, telephone communication, rescue and resettlement, family search escort... Li Lianzhen's "rescue style" has unique personal characteristics. Soft, yet powerful.

As the person in charge of material management, Li Lianzhen always insists on putting every time out of the warehouse and into the warehouse is meticulous to the person, detailed to the minute. When responsible for the distribution of public property, she is extremely careful and cautious, how long the interval between the application of goods, whether it is reasonable or not are listed in detail in the notebook, and resolutely avoid unreasonable material waste. Over the years, the notebooks she had written were stacked together nearly half a meter thick.

Li Lianzhen said that every night, she would write down the work content of the day, reflect on the shortcomings in the work, and make meticulous arrangements for the next day's work. "Good memory is not as good as bad writing", as long as it is their own work, such as safety inspection registration, fire and health inspection, meeting minutes and learning experience, etc., will be recorded in different categories, twenty years as a day. These stacked notebooks are right next to Li Lianzhen's workbench.

Every rescue worker's career will not be smooth sailing - the frustration of unsuccessful searching for relatives is often staged, and there will be cases of the recipient not understanding and not cooperating in the work, the victim insults for no reason, the mentally disabled recipient accidentally injured, and the malicious attack by the recipient has also occurred many times. But in Li Lianzhen's view: "There is no small matter in the rescue, and the branches and leaves are always concerned." To do rescue work, we must pay attention to the details, do details and do practical work, but also to improve work efficiency, work can be a little earlier, the rescue object will suffer less of a crime, I have more love, the recipients will have more warmth. Seeing long-lost families get together, young and ignorant children thrive, and old people who have been wandering for many years fall back to their roots, all the efforts have the best rewards. ”
