It is reported that founded in 2001, the Wan Chai "Soldier Mother" has more than 30 members, they come from different industries, but the same is a heart that loves soldiers like children.
Li Xiuqing, the leader of the "Soldier Mother" supporting the legion, is a well-known local square dance master, who often shares his street dance teaching videos in the circle of friends. In 2013, she and other "soldier mothers" jointly established the Hongling Art Troupe, insisting on carrying out public welfare performances for officers and soldiers of the army, guiding officers and soldiers, street dance and other literary and artistic programs, and helping the development of literature and art in the army. In the 9 years since its establishment, Zhuhai Hongling Art Troupe has always adhered to its original intention and dedicated more than 200 public welfare performances to officers and soldiers.
"For more than 20 years, the 'soldier mothers' have been watering the growth of officers and men with love, and with an optimistic attitude, selfless character, and positive actions, they have inspired generations of officers and soldiers to dedicate themselves, keep in mind their original intentions, and spread love and sweat in their second hometown." Wu Zhongquan, instructor of a squadron of the second detachment on duty, introduced that under the guidance of the Hongling Art Troupe, the squadron has won the provincial and municipal singing competitions for many times.
