However, when this gift reached the hand of the Eighth Prince, Yin Yu, it fell out of the bag. After priing open the base of the gift box, the eighth prince replaced the stone with a dead eagle. This startled the eunuch who saw the gift.
This is not a fabrication but a fact, but the TV series screenwriters have evolved. The actual story has nothing to do with the Fourteenth Prince.

At this time, the eighth prince Yin Yu should have followed the emperor, but it was just in time for the second anniversary of Yin Yu's birth mother, Concubine Liang.
Out of filial piety, Yin Yu pleaded with him to pay tribute to his mother first, and then he went to accompany the driver. He explained the reason to the emperor's personal eunuch and said that he would go to the Tangquan Palace in Chengde to wait for the Kangxi Emperor and then return to Beijing with him. At the same time, he chose two good Hai Dongqing and sent someone to bring them back to the Kangxi Emperor.

Haidongqing was a bird of prey that the Jurchens liked very much, and the rulers of the Jin Dynasty liked this bird very much, and the rulers of the Qing Dynasty also regarded Haidongqing as a rare bird. In the area of Zhangjiakou and Chengde, the imperial court had a special eagle catcher, and the later Eagle Hand Yingzi Mining Area was also a settlement named after the eagle catcher. For each sturdy Hai Dongqing captured, the eagle catcher received a reward of twenty to thirty taels of silver, which was a "huge sum" at that time.
In fact, giving it to Emperor Hai Dongqing was a way for the eighth prince, Yin Yu, to show filial piety and please the emperor at the same time. These two excellent Haidongqing play the role of icing on the cake. But coincidentally, the two birds had an accident.

Kangxi was not in good health in his later years, and gave the emperor two Hai Dongqing who were about to die, which was not equivalent to cursing the emperor? The Kangxi Emperor was furious and rebuked Yin Yu fiercely.
He not only reprimanded Yin Yu, but also took his birth mother and said it. The original text reads: "Yin Yu... Born of a lowly woman from Xin Zhiku, she has a high and sinister heart since childhood, listened to the words of Zhang Mingde, a face-to-face person, so she betrayed her subjects and looked for someone to murder the second brother, which is known to the whole country..."
Concubine Liang was not of a very high birth, and her father was the inner pipe leader Abu Nai. The original internal management collar set up by the Qing Dynasty was only the official of Zhengwupin, whose main job was to manage the snacks and delicacies, melon vegetables, liquor and sauce vinegar, and yuquan landscape, ice cubes, and other various utensils needed for the inner court to eat, reward, and sacrifice.
