The new signed artist Xiao Xiaoyu of the East Study Room recommended the exhibition on May 6, 2022. Young painter Xiao Xiaoyu is a master's student in the art academy, as an artist participating in the 2022 season of the "New Power of Eastern Art" contemporary artist recommendation exhibition in the East Study Room, her creations convey unique spiritual connotations with rich and flexible brush and ink charm, and she can see her own creative path in her works, and feel that she has been seeking and showing her own perceptual experience of belonging to herself, breaking through herself, and different from the previous universal visual values.
Xiao Xiaoyu, born in 1985 in Jinzhai, Anhui Province, has studied oil painting at the Art College of Hubei University since 2019, a member of the Hunan Provincial Artists Association, a member of the Hunan Provincial Women Oil Painters Association, and a contracted artist of Beijing East Study. Although the qualifications are still shallow, the works are mature and charming, reflecting social life in a beautiful way, keenly observing, combing and summarizing our lives, and the works have been collected by many art institutions and private collections.
Xiao Xiaoyu is good at painting flowers, and most of the subject matter of his works is also based on flowers, and each leaf, a flower, and a branch contains the longing for his hometown and the love for every inch of land under his feet. In the sentiment of "mountaineering is full of love for the mountain, and viewing the sea is overflowing with the sea", the fusion of true observation and emotion communicates the work with the heart. Xiao Xiaoyu uses the vigor and transparency of the wild wild length of mountain flowers to try to dissolve the grand expression of the grand narrative, the profound reflection on the way of human nature, and return to the inner vision, the mountain flowers, the flowers on the branches, and the flowers in the vase each have their own vitality and beauty; the height of the temple and the distance of the rivers and lakes are all life and taste. Although the stage is different, as long as each blooms and is beautiful, it can eventually bloom with a hundred flowers.
"Artistic conception" is a mental state pursued by the artist in his creation, a certain spiritual appeal and value orientation for the artist to express himself, and also the artist's arousal and re-examination of the authenticity of the inner self. In his creation, Xiao Xiaoyu pays attention to the exploration and excavation of spiritual emotions, using flowers as a metaphor for life and interpreting hidden emotions in different moods.
