On the evening of May 3, the Jinzhan Police Station of chaoyang substation received an alarm from a citizen that there was a strange-looking bird under the power line somewhere in Li Gezhuang Village, as if it had been injured. The police at the police station quickly rushed to the scene and found a bird with an injured left wing and unable to fly. After investigation, the bird is a national second-class protected animal night heron. The police immediately brought him back to the institute and quickly contacted the China Wildlife Conservation Association. In order to take care of the injured night heron, the police made a simple "home" for it, which placed a water basin and a rice bowl. On May 4, the bird's condition improved slightly, and the police drove it to the hands of the staff of the conservation association. The staff said that they would take some medical assistance and release them to nature in due course.
