Youth in the epidemic line | she is a lifelong and community volunteer, spending April in tears and laughter

A month ago, at the beginning of Puxi sealing, first-year student Yu Gaoyuan and his mother tried to organize the first online meeting of the owners of the community, and more than a hundred people who joined the club directly quarreled because of the disagreement. Yu Gaoyuan did not think about such a situation, the mood was a little out of control in a hurry, and in the panic, he could not even see that many people brushed her on the conference software "less than not crying, less than great".

A month later, she did all kinds of work in the volunteer post of the community, such as guarding the building, scanning the nucleic acid code, material distribution, information transmission, publicity, etc., where there was a shortage of people. In the face of the various problems and demands of residents, she can already calmly and calmly and with ease. "I used to hesitate to say a word, but now I am much more decisive when I send a message."

In April, the flowers of the community bloomed.

Yu Gaoyuan is a student at the School of Bioengineering of East China University of Science and Technology. For a month beginning April 1, she took online classes in her nine-mile neighborhood without missing a day of volunteer work.

Although he was previously a member of the Youth Volunteer Association in the college, the polishing of the epidemic in the community for a month has become a more rare "social practice" for college students Yu Gaoyuan. This month, she felt some changes happening to her.

The following is Yu Gaoyuan's self-statement:

On March 6, on the way to school, I heard that because of the epidemic, I wanted to take online classes, and my car immediately turned back from the Central Elevated Highway. In the blink of an eye, I have been in the community for two months.

Previously, in the college, I was a member of the Youth Volunteer Association, responsible for recruiting volunteers, arranging team leaders, and receiving a major memorial hall of the Ccp. After this month and looking back, you will find that in the previous volunteer work, the general feedback heard was positive, and the emergencies were relatively small - and in this month's community volunteer work, it can be said that I may encounter unexpected situations at any time, serving all kinds of people, and encountering a variety of appeals, "real knives and real guns".

Volunteers "trial run" and official debut

Beginning on March 16, the neighborhood was briefly closed for two days, and then I began to try to sign up for volunteers. I carefully coded a paragraph in WeChat to the neighborhood committee: "Aunt xx, I am Yu Gaoyuan, I want to sign up for the volunteers of the community, I am a loyal member of the Communist Youth League..." Although it has only been more than a month, looking back now, I feel that it was still quite simple at that time.

Although I failed to register successfully that time, it is estimated that I left an impression on the neighborhood committee, and when the nucleic acid test was carried out in the community on March 22, I was assigned to a volunteer post - wearing a "small blue suit" to maintain the order of the nucleic acid team and help the elderly who would not use the health cloud. At that time, I should have been one of the earliest volunteers in the community, but the workload was relatively light, and I didn't think it was too difficult.

Really "on the battlefield", or on April 1, the community officially entered the sealing control.

I remember the first volunteer work that began on April 1, I was arranged to shout the building, and a group of 10 people was taken to the nucleic acid testing point. At that time, I obviously felt that the run-in of all aspects was not enough, the route design would have some problems, and the time control of the shouting building was not good enough, resulting in some residents waiting too long, and sometimes having to sample doctors and other residents. A lot of times I was in a hurry there, but I was really inexperienced. I woke up early that morning and worked until two o'clock in the afternoon, and I barely dripped water, and my legs were soft at the end of work.

"Volunteers are bricks, where do you need to move"

After that, because I want to take online classes, I basically have time to do volunteers when I have time and when I go out. When there is a class in the afternoon, I will sign up for nucleic acid scanning in the morning. On April 4, when I put on the "big white" for the first time, I almost had a sacred feeling in my heart, and the residents said "thank you" to me, I could be happy for a long time; there was also an emergency rescue, at 11:35 a.m., after class, I rushed out of the door to assist in nucleic acid scanning, and then rushed back to 3 p.m. class after doing it.

If there is no class in the evening, I will sign up for material delivery. Jiang Zhihong, the leader of the material support group, was very careful, and a little bit instructed us to pay attention to safety, which buildings are inconvenient to approach, and how to protect ourselves. My mother also served as the leader of the community guard group, and I was familiar with each position, so I began to think about the overall problems of the community with my family - on April 11, my mother and I planned to hold an online meeting to talk to everyone about practical issues such as how to optimize volunteer work.

In the morning planning, in the afternoon I opened the conference room, made a document collected to discuss the problem, and sent the meeting notice to the owner group, volunteer group, etc. At that meeting, more than a hundred people came, and everyone wanted to come up with ideas for the community, but later, there were some conflicts and became a "spit conference". A problem that has been somewhat ignored has also emerged - the sound of sealing and controlling buildings has always been too little, and in the subtle, their problems have been accumulated.

So now that I think about it, although I was embarrassed to cry at that time, I was still very glad to have that meeting. Later, our volunteers made a lot of arrangements and timely notifications for the sealing and control building, such as when the sealing and control building sanitize, when to collect garbage, and how to solve their material distribution problems. The meeting itself may have been less successful, but fortunately led to a better outcome.

Organize the construction of an informant framework to witness the beauty of the neighborhood

In the latter stage, Dong Min, a core volunteer in the community, and I began to think about another problem - how to effectively establish an information transmission system. Effective messaging can improve efficiency, and transparent and timely feedback can also help soothe residents' emotions. Previously, this part of the work was more in the neighborhood committee, but under the epidemic, we are worried that they will be occupied by this work too much time and energy.

Therefore, by the middle of April, Dong Min communicated with the neighborhood committee, and I was responsible for "pulling people's heads" in various groups, finding some residents who I felt were more active and capable, doing the release of specific information, doing the collection of resident problems, and the information officer system was set up. Among them, I also served as an information officer for 10 buildings.

In addition to class, my time is basically occupied by mobile phones, looking at the news of residents in various building groups - whose courier is fresh and hopes to give priority to delivery; whose family does not understand or disagree with the notification arrangement of the community; who wants to deliver what supplies to relatives in other buildings... There are many kinds of things, and there are not few "anxious expectations and sorrows".

It takes some energy to get back to everyone's voices. But through this job, I also have the opportunity to witness what is happening in my community. For example, the residents of Building 17, who are leaders in their daily work, will be very methodical in the community building group statistics antigen self-test every day, but also take the initiative to help do building sanitize; on May 1, the residents of Building 24 put a cola case of beer under the building, please take it yourself, wish everyone a happy holiday, and then that corner put more and more snacks, and even books appeared, becoming a heart-warming "small supermarket"; there was a volunteer in one building who was uncomfortable, and everyone worked together to find a doctor. Find a way to relieve your pain... Squatting in various buildings every day to see this information, my heart is really warm.

In the first year of college, it is actually a good time to enjoy school life, but because of the epidemic, online classes do not have to go out. But I think I will still miss this time, the "disappeared neighborhood" is coming back, I met all kinds of people, really frustrated, but also helped a lot of people. I'll be back in school with some new thinking from the pandemic, and I think some changes have already happened to me.
