We have heard some news of you, it is said that your poems are well written, how did you get on the path of poetic literature?
Li Yu
Many things are coincidences of fate and fate, the first contact with poetry is actually in the third year of junior high school, the refined language and the poetry contained in the text made me fall in love with poetry at the first sight, so in the continuous attempt to finally write some works, this insistence has been written to the present. Of course, my teenage work was more of a small fight, which was originally a way for me to vent my emotions, just as some people use music, some people use games, and my choice is words. The road to literature is bumpy after all, I once wanted to give up, so the help of school teachers is also indispensable, especially in the first year, just entering the university is really confused, but under the guidance of our professional teacher Zhou Jingang, I persevered, and in the process of the later conversation, Mr. Zhou Jingang also pointed out the direction for me.

What attracted you to Huanggang Vocational College of Science and Technology?

Whether it is the red culture of Huanggang or the admiration of Dongpo culture, it has prompted me to want to understand the ancient city of Huanggang, and want to grow up under the beauty of The Lake of Love and the influence of the literati, and finally I chose Huanggang Vocational College of Science and Technology, and firmly believe that under the nurture of the fraternal culture of Huanggang Vocational College of Science and Technology, more outstanding students will emerge.

As a science and engineering student, why did you choose such a liberal arts hobby as literature?
Li Yu
In fact, I like literature and professional has little to do with it, in fact, I still quite hate the texts that have to be memorized by rote in the language, and I will be more willing to understand the emotions expressed and the events described, just like there are many people who like to play games, but few people will design games, and they are even more reluctant to touch the long list of code that needs to be typed out to design games. And literature and high school writing essay difference is very big, at that time more passive to accept, according to some materials to write some things that they may not be willing to write, but literature is not the same, you can write a weed you see, a wild flower or even a stone, you can stand in different angles to analyze and find what you want to express, I think many times an engineer needs to understand the world, change the world, or create new things.

So how did you study your major? Have you participated in any competitions?

During my time in school, I mastered the use of CAD, SolidWorks, PLC and other software, won the third prize in the third three-dimensional design competition held by the college, and participated in the 2021 Belt and Road and BRICS Skills Development and Technological Innovation Competition and the 2022 National Intelligent Manufacturing Virtual Simulation Competition, the school's current learning environment and atmosphere I think is very good, theory and practical operation seamless docking, Any idea can be practiced and tested directly in the training room with industrial robots, and I can also compete with other students and students from all over the country through various competitions inside and outside the school, which makes my positioning clearer.

So do you have any plans for the future development?
Li Yu
I plan to master the software such as SolidWorks and CAD that I have learned now, and become a good mechanical engineer, because the road to literature is too long and full of bumps, so it may be a better choice as a hobby or side business, after all, all the wind and snow are built on chai rice oil and salt, and when life is guaranteed, it will be much easier to pursue poetry and distant places.
