Wei Xiaodong, 31, is a native of Yindong Village, Chang'an Township, Rong'an County, Guangxi. Six years ago, he gave up his e-commerce job in Guangzhou to return to his hometown to start a business, driving thousands of households in 12 townships in the county to plant kumquats, achieving an increase in income of more than 10 million yuan. In 2020, he leased 100 mu of land in Dapo Village, Chang'an Town, Rong'an County, and built an "Ant Agricultural E-commerce Digital Demonstration Base" to control water and fertilizer through automatic control equipment, monitor soil moisture, and explore the agricultural production and operation model of "standardized planting - digital management - e-commerce sales". Wei Xiaodong said that he wanted to transform Rong'an's ecological advantages of green water and green mountains into the economic advantages of Jinshan Yinshan and help rural revitalization.
