"Dry lotus" is the formal scientific name for this flower, and when I was a child, my neighbors called it "lotus", probably thinking that its leaves resemble lotuses.
The color of its flowers is a bit monotonous, but I always feel that there is fluorescence in this color, because its color is particularly eye-catching.
It always gives me the impression of being so slender, the leaves growing very slowly, the flowers opening one stubble after another, and the leaves are still so small.
When I photographed this flower, I happened to see the projection caused by the sunlight and suddenly had a familiar feeling. When I was a child, under the flower trellis, in the gaps of the plants, the scene of the sun coming through, for a while the fragrance of the soil and the warmth of the hometown all came up...
