Go into the wilderness and water the sweat

Reincarnated officers and soldiers, young people on the border, young people in urban knowledge... In the past few decades, nearly a million reclamation troops have rushed to the northeast corner of the motherland, integrating sweat into the wilderness and watering the black soil with youth.

In the past, the Northern Wilderness is now the Northern Northern Cang. From the southern foothills of The Xiaoxing'anling Mountains and the Songnen Plain to the Sanjiang Plain, the former deserted virgin land, today's fertile fields are contiguous, forest belts are intertwined, and towns are chessed, and the annual grain output has jumped from 0.048 billion catties in the early days of reclamation to more than 46 billion catties in 2021. Today, the Northern Wilderness provides the country with nearly 14% of its commercial grains, accounting for 2.4% of the country's arable land.
Equipment updates The spirit is not extinguished
Last year, Li Yang, a post-90s man who worked at a local television station, decided to change careers to become a technician at the Agricultural Machinery Service Center of Chahayang Farm after doing a report. That issue of the report told the story of Liang Jun, the first female tractor driver in New China.
In 1948, the Heilongjiang Provincial Party Committee held a training course for tractor drivers, with more than 70 students in the class, only Liang Jun was a girl.
Weeds are taller than people, there are dry reed ponds everywhere, and the difficulty of opening up the land is self-evident. In the wilderness, Liang Jun ate boiled potatoes, drank gutter water, slept in a tent, and often encountered wild beasts at night...
After reporting, the story of Liang Jun's reclamation spread all over the world. Female cadets continued to come to be in the Northern Wilderness and formed the first women's tractor team on the mainland, with Liang Jun as the captain. From tractor drivers to university students to agricultural technology experts – for more than half a century, Liang Jun's spirit of labor has inspired countless people to dream of the Northern Wilderness.
Li Yang's maternal grandfather, Liu Fengshan, graduated from university in 1961 and reported to the Chahayang farm that Liang Jun had once reclaimed, and became an agricultural mechanic.
"Use agricultural machinery to rake the land, and rely on the eyes to command." As a "veteran" who has been working as an agricultural mechanic for 45 years, Liu Fengshan recalled that in those years when he first worked, everyone was "plowing and panting" - the tractor only took care of the traction, and the people followed the stable wooden plow, tired and breathless.
"New equipment has been introduced one after another, and the horsepower of agricultural machinery has doubled." Li Yang's father, Li Haifu, joined the work in 1983 and witnessed the rapid improvement of the mechanization rate in the reclamation area, "Now there are tractors, harvesters, rice transplanters, field management and aircraft navigation operations, and there is no longer a need to 'face the loess and turn your back to the sky'." However, the spirit of hard work and hard work in those years cannot be lost. ”
Nowadays, Beidou satellite navigation is becoming the "sky eye" of agricultural machinery operations. "After setting the AB point, the agricultural machine can operate automatically, accurately and straightly, and the driver only needs to turn around." These days, Li Yang is busy correcting parameters on the computer, he invented the "one car, one table" work method, more than 10 items of information reflecting the operation of the locomotive are collected in a table, which can better save food and reduce losses.
Looking at the statue of Liang Jun on the main road of the farm, Li Yang said: "The spirit of the Great Northern Wilderness is the baton, which will be passed down from generation to generation here." ”
Serve the overall situation and be brave to take responsibility
On April 14, a special train full of 3,000 tons of rice was urgently sent from Harbin to Shanghai to help prevent and control the epidemic. During the fight against SARS in 2003, Beidahuang Rice Group set a record of shipping 20,000 tons of high-quality rice to Beijing in 7 days, alleviating the grain shortage in the capital; during the Wenchuan earthquake in 2008 and the drought in the five southwestern provinces in 2010, Beidahuang Rice Industry urgently processed and transported 2,400 tons and 10,500 tons of rice respectively, effectively ensuring the grain supply in the disaster area...
