History of Braavos
Of the free trade city-states of the world of ice and fire, Braavos is the most special one, with its economic and military power, but unlike other major castles, it was not affiliated with the Valelian Free Fortress.
About 500 years before the Egon landings, a slave from the Valyrian fleet revolted to seize the fleet, and they fled north across the Narrow Sea. This group of slaves came from all over the world and had a variety of different beliefs, some of which were female slaves from the far Eastern Gogusnay Plain, who predicted:

The reef is often shrouded in mist, so that almost no one knew of its existence at the beginning of the establishment of Braavos, and the city developed silently for a century, so it is also known as the "City of Secrets". On the occasion of the 111th anniversary of the founding of the City of Secrets, the then sea king Uthero Zaneen announced the existence of Braavos to the world.
Braavos's first law was that no man, woman, or child would ever become a slave. The wandering child in the novel shows no hostility toward Erya, who is a teaching assistant in Erya's Faceless Training, learning each other's language, practicing lying and discerning lies, and she also points out Erya's knowledge of poison.

The next day, her Faceless training officially began, and the kind people told her the story of the origin of the Faceless, taught her how to interpret expressions and distinguish lies, and she and the street children learned each other's language and practiced distinguishing lies.
