Liang Fei, deputy director general of the Association, announced the "Top Ten Users of the Association in 2021", "Top Ten Works in 2021" and "Top Ten Most Popular Writers in 2021" according to the statistics of the copyright royalties collected by the Association in 2021 and the articles selected by each user.
The "Top Ten Users of 2021" include People's Education Publishing House, Beijiao Xiaoyu Culture Media (Beijing) Co., Ltd., Beijing Hanwen Hongzhi Book Co., Ltd., Fuzhou Gongcheng Media Co., Ltd., Shanghai Education Publishing House, Tianjin Colorful Time Culture Media Co., Ltd., Hubei Hongyan Culture Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing Zhushi Culture Communication Co., Ltd., Beijing Muwenlong shang cultural media Co., Ltd. and Shandong Pictorial Publishing House. In 2021, the above ten users will pay more than 10 million yuan in copyright royalties. Liang Fei pointed out that he hopes that through the benchmarking and leading role of the top ten users, the basic principle of the Copyright Law "first licensing and then using" will be further promoted in the whole society, and a good social atmosphere of encouraging originality, respecting copyright owners, respecting copyright, respecting law and abiding by the law will gradually form.

The "Top Ten Most Popular Writers" are: Chen Bochui, Jia Lanpo, Jin Jin, Yan Wenjing, Gao Shiqi, Li Siguang, Bingbo, Sun Youjun, Guan Hua, and Ye Shengtao are also the ten authors with the highest copyright royalty income in 2021. In 2021, the total copyright royalties collected by the Literary Association for these ten writers exceeded 5 million yuan.
In 2021, the Association carried out a series of work in the performance of statutory functions, collective management and copyright agency. In fiscal 2021, the copyright royalties collected reached 24.55 million yuan, an increase of 9.4% year-on-year. Among them, collective management authorization businesses such as the right to disseminate information networks, the right to compile, and the right to perform accounted for 86%, and the reprinting of newspapers and periodicals and the collection and transfer of remuneration for textbooks accounted for 12%.
Liang Fei pointed out that due to the dual impact of the epidemic and the double reduction policy, the demand of users for works has changed. To this end, under the premise of protecting the interests of right holders, the Association has adjusted the scope and conditions of authorization, such as increasing the authorization for the use of media and appropriately adjusting the number of first prints according to the actual situation to adapt to the development of the industry.
